I disagree, I reckon they are plagued with problems that make it over rated. They cant even make over 500HP without some SERIOUS engine rebuilding and heaps of money. And i reckon they sound like a 4cyl when you take one of the spark plugs out and run it on 3. the only subbi engine i think sounds good is the ej20
@@rtorbs I agree. I have always thought to have fun on a twisty B road, you don’t need anymore than 200bhp per tonne. To add to this, the lighter the car the more fun it is (down to around 500kgs). My GF has a C1 with a rotrex kit and it’s amazing!
Not in Switzerland. Subarus and BMWs are the most overrated cars here. Cheapest WRX in the country is 15'000 pounds with 160'000 miles and questionable modifications.

So many experts in the comments ffs... 30k you can buy this and that .....well 30k can get you a superbike and will be way faster than gtr rs3 golf R etc.... But that's not the point....
There's a whole word between the sunday tune and this solid long-term one and that's what people don't consider mainly. There's also the fact that price depends on the car, and I believe 30k is fair for what he did.
Yeah for me I dont care about the money. What's the point of buying a car that's already fast? It's way more fun and interesting to build your car step by step making it a journey you can look back on and see how far you've come

I built one of these 5 years ago that made just over 600bhp on pump fuel. The current STI platform is really good and a lot more refined than previous generations. They handled pretty good out of the box but with a few upgrades to brakes and handling they deal with 600bhp well and it is a very fun and rewarding drive. I know why that owner has such a smile on his face.
The people you get on the channel have a genuine love of cars! So refreshing to see bro, great car yet again. Production too... loving the music as well. Keep it up man 😁

Completely underrated cars!! I had a Subaru WRX STI 330s about 2 years about, it was completely stock and it used to just eat up the majority of cars on the road and the handling... was incredible. This makes me miss is so much... can someone give me a hug please? 😂
its always a lot of money to upgrade, and its very satisfying. i've done it - and have noticed the differences in certain gears and at certain speeds. REMEMBER - if you don't look back at your car when you walk away - IT'S NOT FOR YOU. Great Video. Always smiling like me. well done.

Always loved a subi with unequal lenght headers.I know these fa engines are not that popular yet.Most parts available are for the older ej engines but nice to see the fa set up like this,it did cost alot of money but it's obviously worth every penny.Nice one and lovely owner, also love the fact that his misses is involved.
