I’m a Harley rider and I hear this comment all the time, I ride in jeans and a t-shirt and helmet, sure it would be safer to wear all the gear, but when I see people wearing all that stuff and their soaked in sweat after pealing all the layers off I have to ask at what point is riding a motorcycle not with it anymore, if you’re covered from head to toe and can barely feel any wind then you might as well just drive a car.
@@MeanGreenJKsport bike riders are the only ones who really need gear those crotch rockets will never save you. I've seen crashes on Harley's at a decent speed that didn't have serious outcomes but crash a sport bike and you're absolutely fucked.
You are delusional if you truly think that's the truth. The pavement could care less about what bike you are riding. 30% of all motorcycle fatalities are cruisers and 8% are sport bikes. Almost all riders including myself have been in accidents and gear could keep you alive or make it so your body doesn't hurt for the rest of your life. No amount of arguing will change that fact. @@michaelsutherland9337
I get a kick out of these guys racing with shorts and no gloves. They have a lot of confidence.

Typical Harley rider, almost zero gear.
