At 71, I got all day to let idiots do what they do. My curfew is when the street lights come on. Lol. I’m glad you reminded me about the Optimate, added it to my Sea to Sky list of needs and wants. Weather here was not tennis weather. Sunshine was present but temp was not. Low 40’s and north wind at 8 mph. I cannot play tennis bundled up like an Eskimo. I went back to bed. Lol. Stay safe and don’t forget the concrete shoes. No vlogs if you are floating about in the atmosphere!!👍🏽😎
We woke up to snow on the cars and grass today. The snow on the grass melted quickly but it's about 1:00 and it's still melting off the car. Since you are talking about keeping the battery on a charger/maintainer. My Motorcycle, Mower, and Pickup Truck which is hardly ever used. are all on maintainers to keep the batteries all charged up top. My bike which I bought new in 2007 had a Yuasa in it originally, that is what I replaced it with in 2017. It still worked great, but I was going on a long trip and because it was as old as it was(Still worked great) I just decided to replace it. The replacement yuasa is still in it and going strong.
I replaced my stock battery with the yellow one from SlingMods because I was getting VSS fault codes. Since the replacement, I have been smooth sailing! That battery also has two sets of terminals, so my accessories go on one, and the Spyder on the other.
Why or why oh why do manufacturers continue to have low voltage issues on these bikes. Issue goes all the way back to the 88 GoldWing. If it turns over it ought to start and be ok. It should just throw a low/check battery code. Crazy. Anyway great vid as always! Be well Smoaks!
Hi Shaun. Another good vid. Watching it and noticed the front seat sitting up higher than usual. Have they changed the length of the actuator arm? Gary
When I'm doing the speed limit I've been passed by numerous people. All angry. Speed limit signs don't mean you "have" to go that speed, just not over. I never have problems with farmers or Amish buggys. They always wave-- no flipping people off. 👍👍
Folks are just nuts. Got passed by an archaic Sentra on one donut going around 85 not long ago. Been saying prayers a lot more when I head out, car or bike!
I see people in the Chicago suburbs with their windshield tinted. And I mean DARK tint. Even in full sunlight you can't see into the vehicle. Dark tint on the side windows and any tint on the windshield is illegal here.
They still have the Haijiu battery on the 2024??? C'mon BRP! My original Haijiu battery crapped out after 14 months on my 2022 and got replaced under warranty with another brand

7 computers on the Spyder…wow, didn’t know that. See this is why I watch, you always get a chance to learn something new. Have a great one👍
Most of the time with these manufacturers is cheap tires and batteries. Good to see Rick.

A 24 and needs a battery damn that sucks wow
I keep my bike in a garage with no wall sockets. Is there a tender that doesn't require a wall socket?
I looked for one but didn't find one. It'd have to be a battery rechargeable device.
Road rage 🤦 well, it just proves you can't fix stupid!
