I don't know why he didn't just say: "If you see the enemy dashing at you immediately Super Special Move(because 90% of the time it is either a throw or a poke),especially if you are Yashamaru *COUGH*" That would have made it so much simpler!
Question: you say you're a Jubei main. As I recall from the 1st two games his best offense always came from his kicks first, leading into his swordplay. Is this still true, please?
Strange that you see so many peoples going for a Dragon punch after Genjuro's grab connects considering it's a terrible choice of move. You have a guaranteed down strong that does significantly more damage and doesn't have the drawback to be punishable if your opponent Rage burst out of it...

Funny... but seriously, this is a very different fg than the ones the average fg consumer is used to in the current market. The vast majority of people unfamiliar with Samsho will be lost on a good amount of things, because it's too different from Capcom fg's... and Capcom has the biggest influence in the fg culture over the world, especially in the US.
This is why i never waste my time in tutorials in fighting games. They’re mostly useless because they always seem to omit pertinent info. I noticed all of this messing around in training mode. Only thing I couldn’t figure out was how to set your weapon down.
Once the meter gets filled and firey and you have access to the WFT, you get a significant buff to damage and even some moves get new effects. Eventually the bar will empty after a set time or if you use your WFT. So when your meter is full is when you should be a bit more aggressive to take advantage of it.
Yeah the meter has a time limit. It actually has been like this for all the Samurai Shodown games and even in Capcom vs SNK 2. When your gauge is full and activated, you will have a time limit on when it stays full then it will just automatically deplete.

Just defend-blowback and weapon drop are in the tutorial. The throw times are super helpful though

About the special move cancel, if you input fast enough, it won't cancel on block, so it's auto hit confirm

Wait so you cant reverse throws anymore? I thought in the earlier SamSho's you could reverse throws with the throw. Or am I misremembering?

DO you have a training room tutorial? trying find a good one for my friend....how to program the slots etc...
it took me awhile to figure it out too, but it's (i think) L3 to record and R3 to playback
You can map what buttons record and playback in the controller settings

Good tips, i just bought the game so this will help a lot. Youd think fighting games would have advanced techniques in training or tutorial nowadays.
