- Here's a topical video I made about the Woke Olympics. Yeah I know the Olympics finished 6 days ago. This is how I do topical stuff - I wait for a week after it's finished and then get round to editing and uploading.
This video is about sport going woke. The Olympics has transgender athletes threatening to burn the American flag and Muslim athletes refusing to compete against Israel.
The English football team take the knee - but there's a terrible precedent for political statements made in collectivist groupthink in English football. And while English footballers lecture us on racism, they prepare to play in stadiums built by slaves in Qatar, where homosexuality is punishable by death.
Tyson Fury is criticised by gender studies graduates for having bad opinions on gender, but nobody criticises them for being shit at boxing.
Someone broke into my car and nicked all my camera gear so this is filmed on my mate's cameras. I've got a new camera (I took it as an opportunity to upgrade to a full frame Sony A7C) so once the Edinburgh Fringe is over I'm going to be back to making videos more regularly.

Thanks Leo, for another 10 mins of rational perspective and humour. Personally, I'm sick to death of the Woke Brigade's vicarious claims of being offended that seemingly not only go unchallenged, but are actually 'resolved' in their' favour. It seems to get anything done in the UK, you simply have to be in the minority and demonstrate. Time for the majority to respond methinks, in a similar manner. Sadly, democracy isn't working for us and neither are the people whose responsibility it is to ensure it is.
Ah well, nothing like a bit of anarchic musing on a Bank Holiday afternoon.

Born rutherglen, mums side is all west coast, dad is s,Ireland, i been in England since I was 6... (They did it on purpose as a sick joke to make me aquire an English accent so all extended family can call me English for my whole life hahaha ... )
...my Point? I know both Scot and Irish culture to a degree, history and green/blue politics, both parents staunch, dad super staunch, but I also grew up through school and 20's in England with most English mates and pubs and raves and festivals etc etc...
And it was always apparent to me that the bitterness was unfairly attributed to the average Joe, from all sides but more so the older gens, and yet tans jocks Paddy's and taffs are all such amazing people with basically identical culture and norms and humor, especially when boiled down, and we were as a general population all realising that, especially over the last 50 years or so, 50'-70s saw a youth culture mixing and explosion that changed the world basically, and from about the mid to late 80s we had the widespread or privately accepted "real" racism (not jokes) totally abolished...
Same with gangs going out looking for gay guys... Stopped, even real bullying of gays (outside of school years ofc) was basically gone and deffo frowned on hardcore in public..
We knew it was wrong to say without joking that a boy who likes ballet or Barbie was gay ... Only kids and adults making silly jokes said that nowadays.....

FYI, Caster Semenya is biologically male, as in she has XY chromosomes, and testes that produce normal male levels of testosterone. She was just raised as a woman, presumably because of some DSD. It's misleading to suggest that this is an instance of a woman with "naturally high" levels of testosterone. The ruling that applied to her would also apply to any trans woman who did not suppress her testosterone levels to below the required level.
Rubbish. Caster Semenya was born intersex, with female genitalia and is NOT “biologically male” at all. That’s what “intersex” means. She has been raised as female since birth because she IS female, just an intersex female.
