Build a rider to house the gyro, have the upper body shift with the gyro

Merry cool , I suggested to Robert pascal he needed weight on a servo but this seems to work pretty well I think a smaller version of the flywheel would work
You can see the weight hinders it a little but turning was very good also it may work better if it can be mounted lower and more forward just a little

The ingenuity in this competition is crazy. This is the fourth video I stumbled across and they'r all different. I think yours is working the best. Is the gyro hooked up to a Helicopter gyro? That would be gold I think.

No it not, just mixing the steering with the flywheel movement. That would definitely help out I'll do a vid with that!

It's crazy how the sled was keeping steady when wheeling and picked back up in a different direction when off balance. Never seen that. Yeah the heli Gyro well adjusted would definitely help bit more for sure. Definitely top contender in my eyes. Good luck.@@wheeliegriff777

This is so much game changer. I can’t stop thinking about it.

Looks like the heavy weight of the sled could be a problem also. Thing is awesome though. Like the previous comment, a rider over the gyro could work.

@@wheeliegriff777 I didn't see any turns. A couple times it spun around standing straight up. Show some turns carving. And some turns on a side hill turning into the hill.
Can you drive it in a controlled manner and make a turn showing the sled leaning into the turn and not tipping over to the outside? A somewhat controlled turn? The issue everyone knows these RC sleds have...
Please show that so we can see if a gyro really works like we hope it can, instead of answering by saying you did it when clearly you didn't.

@@chilly7261 @chilly7261 It definitely works good. That was my last day with deep pow, so now it's all basically melted. If you look in the video the sled was side hilling and dose some really tight 180° turns. Dose your sled turn in actual deep pow? Hard pack turning is one thing and deep pow is another thing.
