It’s nice to know someone else feels like this. I’m a mom of 3 and I feel like I’ve been in the sleep deprived haze for a few years now. Almost like out of body feeling somehow. I can’t remember anything and I just haven’t felt like myself in years. It’s nice to know I’m not crazy and others go through this too. Also, I love y’all’s videos and your family is so sweet.
I feel the same way! I also have 3 kids and as much as I love them, I am always dead tired and it has ruined my memory. Like I honestly don't know how I'm functioning most days and how I've been doing it for so long. I call myself a mombie lol, a mom zombie because I always look and feel so exhausted but keep going. I hope it gets better for both of us mama, you're amazing! Hugs💜
Maybe propose the question to yourself of “would I rather have hazy, sleepy breastfeeding cuddle memories, or clear, shorter night memories” obviously easier said then done, but as a mom of twins, my sleep deprived first 2 months were the least favorite memories of their first year that I have. Some moms have the superpower of being able to preform beautifully on such little sleep, but I am not that mom and it’s okay to be either!! I hope wholesome rest finds you soon
Katie, I know this “daze” all too well. Especially when my daughter first came home. It literally felt like the world didn’t exist for a good 3 months. It’s gotten a lot better but my almost 11 month old still wakes up during the night and if I’m up super early I don’t remember anything either. I hope you’ll get your rest super soon and much love to all of y’all 💗
I know exactly what your saying Katie and you are not alone in this. You are right this shall pass and your babies will be older. I am blown away that my kids are 11 and 7. Enjoy as much as you can and stay strong. Your doing amazing!
I feel you Katie I just got a new 8 week old puppy 2 days ago or 3 days ago but I know that she's not nearly as difficult sleep wise compared to a baby and stuff, but same I feel so tired and like in a daze too and a bit of the memory thing too
Loved watching Ella tasting the cookies in her cute headband 😊. Katie you are a natural at decorating, the girls rooms are adorable. I hope Addie continues to sleep for you Katie, your body needs rest, 🤞💖💖💖
Definitely sleep train her!! It will be such a big difference and there are sooo so many other things to enjoy about her being your last baby, and you’ll feel more rested to enjoy them. My daughter is 8 months, too. I sleep trained her to fall asleep on her own for naps and bedtime, which she does. She does still wake up 2-3 times at night to nurse, which is hard. I’m going to sleep train her out of that very soon, too. Then I’ll actually be able sleep 6 hours straight again, hopefully!
Babies the first year put you in a different world almost, I’m so glad your getting more sleep, being a part of life again. Love the rooms they look so great. Have a great night, 😴😴😴❤️🙏❤️👍
Tip is don't instantly react when she cries at night, give her a second to sooth herself then he'll her if it's been more than 5 minutes. Put to bed while awake too helps a ton.
we did a floor bed for my little that coslept!! id lay with her until she fell asleep then leave, come back anytime she cried and then leave when she was back asleep, then by 7 months she was sleeping through the night!
Don't be hard on yourself Katie your doing a great job ,but maybe try different things that might help u both or speak with your doctor they may have advice that could help you with baby Take care
Momma of 6 all grown and on my 2nd grandbaby but only 43! Do what you gotta do to get your rest! When that child is 18 and going off to school the last thing that’s gonna matter is rather you breastfed till whenever! My best advice is get your kids on a good nap and sleep schedule! Also if you happen to have a village and someone willing to keep your kids overnight it is perfectly OK to let someone else watch the kids overnight so you can get a good nights sleep and take care of yourself I wish I would’ve learned this when I was raising my kids I never took a break and at 43 I am just learning who I am aside from being a mother now don’t get me wrong being a mother is who I was meant to be and I enjoyed nothing more but I think you guys will understand! I make sure I give my daughter breaks I’ll take my granddaughter overnight on the weekend at least one weekend a month because I understand the importance now! And when my granddaughter comes she is my whole world I spoil her rotten she is well cared for and very loved and my daughter doesn’t have a worry in the world and when I send her home she always goes home with new clothes new toys and always a bag of diapers
And Katie I definitely have to say I do not think either one of you are done! At the same time I understand the hard pregnancy and the exhaustion and how tough it is and your mind might be there but your heart sure is not! Once the two older ones can start caring for themselves for the most part it’ll become easier and I have a feeling you’ll probably have another one
@@dinkywinkydog1311 I 100% agree with you. I have a feeling they'll end up having one more once the two older girls are in school and Addy is around 3 or 4. Possibly 2-3 years from now.
If you are looking for name signs try Etsy. I found a neon sign for my son's room. They have so many cute things. Love the new look for both kids room.
Maybe you are doing this or someone suggested it, but when I was trying to get my boys to sleep through the night, I gave them some rice cereal along with their final bottle of the night. That seemed to be the turning point for them. My baby is waiting for his first baby to arrive. Four days past due!
Co sleeping was way easier for me then sleep training. So am still co sleeping with my 2 year old and 6 month old bc it’s easier nd we all sleep way better! Obviously do what’s best for your family. You guys know your babes best, so do whatever feels right! Love your family!♥️
Katie, I know your pain. I don't sleep very well and am exhausted every day. I take Vitamin B Complex every day and it really helps with my energy. Dint take after 4pm or you won't sleep though. Good luck.
Our three kids are basically the same ages and I’ve felt this way for years. I can’t remember not feeling like this. But I can’t sleep train. I know I’d never follow through and have no help so 🤷🏼♀️ here I am. 😴 seems like the crumble cookies are far more nasty or just ok flavors than actual wow that’s good flavors 🤔
I can help you with this if you need help. I know this all too well and it is so worth it to provide better sleep for the whole family and not zombying through
Hi guys I love watching your vlogs your girls have grown so much Addy is so adorable I can't believe that she is crawling already man kids grow up so fast I can't believe that it is starting to get cold already I wasn't ready for this cold weather I hope you guys are enjoying this cool weather well you guys get cooler weather then anyone else around the USA I hope you guys are having a wonderful day how are you guys?
I knkw exactly everything your talking about. We got our son out of our room and he too slept so much better. He went from 5 to 7 times waking up to 1 or 2 times.
I have those memory issues plus worse to where I locked keys in car 2x in less than 2 months and I never do that. Yet my last baby was 3 yrs ago and I had a hysterectomy a yr and half ago. It's horrible having memory issues in going crazy. I get sleep but also do sleepy all the time.
Do you know how difficult it is to put a newborn baby in its own room and crib, especially when you're breastfeeding? It's way better to have the baby in your room for at least 6 months. Then gradually transition the baby to their crib.
Sleep train her! It is dangerous for you and them. I had a preemie and had to feed my baby every 3 hours with an alarm. It is dangerous if you go out by yourself driving etc.!
I'm sure Ben helps you, but maybe you guys can set up a time where he can be with Addy and the other girls that way you can get some rest. Just between 1-3 hours where you're able to just decompress. I think that would help you so much!
It’s crazy what lack of sleep 😴 💤 does to a person. That happened to my dad he was having problems staying asleep and wasn’t sleeping much 💤. And it was a very scary thing because one day he was out driving and he didn’t know where he was and how to get back home . And then he use to like to go for walks and one day he was out walking and didn’t remember how to get back home and had to ask someone thank God they knew him and where he lived . And that’s when the doctor said he needed a sleep app machine. After using the machine he was back to himself. So yes a lack of sleep messes with your brain 😱
Katie!, I just had to laugh, you have something on your sleeve! Not sure if its chocolate or poop! Only kidding, I know that you are so tired and over worked, but that made me laugh. With Adie, when you really need sleep, you will let her just cry it out one night, and then it will only get better, because could it get any worse, I hope not! Hang in there, you’re young, you can handle it, but don’t wait to much longer.
I don’t think this is good what you’re going through you drive a car you take care of children I think it’s better if you sleep train her we can’t function without sleep your health is more important to be a good mom
Not trying to sound negative. Maybe Addie is sensitive to caffeine from your coffee and it's affecting her sleeping. I know how frustrating it is to feel sleep deprived and you both are great parents.
I think baby #4 is in youe future, You have gone from saying Addie is your last baby, to Addie is probably your last, now saying she might be the last....time will tell LOL

Once again, Ella is the star with ‘it’s like dream come true’. Love her, she’s always so grateful and positive.
That was my fav part too! :)
You have to be strong and let her stay in her own crib,a rested mind is a rested body,so mom needs rest
All the rooms look great. I just love watching you guys. Hope Addie continues sleeping better in her own room. ❤
When she said it's like a dream come true it melted my heart❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️love u guys❤️

Loving the longer videos!! ❤️
I like your room that way and I love the girls name signs up! And Addie’s room is adorable!

Thats so cool how the girls have their own Christmas trees in their room!

Hey! Where is Avery’s Christmas sweatshirt from? ❤️
I love the alphabet activity!! I’m going to do that for my kids!
You could use one of the dressers for the guest room!
I would sleep train NOW. It is not good for either of you.
You know you let people upset you to much don't listen to them .
The girls did a great job of decorating their own Christmas tree they're really cute
I knkw exactly everything your talking about. We got our son out of our room and he too slept so much better. He went from 5 to 7 times waking up to 1 or 2 times.

time change is horrible for seniors and babies! just keep up the sleep training. it sounds like it will be successful.

Should have taken care of that before 6 mos. new babies can be in their own cribs when you bring them home.
Do you know how difficult it is to put a newborn baby in its own room and crib, especially when you're breastfeeding?
It's way better to have the baby in your room for at least 6 months. Then gradually transition the baby to their crib.
Would you consider a sleep doula for Addie? I hope you do.
Rooms are beautiful ❤
Wow!! A long video!! I freaking love it!!❤🇨🇦❤🇨🇦❤
Have you guys tried sleep training?
we love the long vlogs!
Loved the cookies 🍪
Hope you feel better soon! Your the best mama!! And is there anyway you can link the girls shower curtain it’s soooo cute
Why are so against sleep training??
(No hate, just curious? )
Do you remember where you bought those signs from?
Feel sorry for you Katie, must be so hard being that sleep deprived. Maybe you should ween her to ensure your health is cared for.
Sleep train her! It is dangerous for you and them. I had a preemie and had to feed my baby every 3 hours with an alarm. It is dangerous if you go out by yourself driving etc.!
