I think avoid as much abstract passage

I got 3/4 sir, the passage was doable but i always feel skeptical about attempting them as sometimes the questions are really tricky and not as direct as this particular passage, it feels like a bet
Plus the language also confuses me under time pressure
How to deal with this sir?
