Pile 1 + 3: I have noticed a sad pattern- I have (since youth) always shined bright, been talented and wise. I did not get mirrored that I was of value in my expression of it, so if I could not be controlled, I was minimized and criticized to the degree that I believed I was not good enough and a failure, so I tried harder and it only made me treated worse. I did not know it was because people were afraid of losing me and was projected on as a response. I began to shrink and work on my own and not sharing much. For what I did share was always the same result. Truth only came out after I had to move on. So I finally have put two and two together. I am a catalyst for change and pioneer for a new way of seeing each other and loving each other through knowing themselves and expressing it. It has been so hard to want community and to be of help and to be treated in the way I have has truly affected my heart and mind. I have gained self-trust and boundaries and faith because I had to or I would no longer find life worth living, but a cage of suppressed potential.

It does not mean they were all wrong and I was right. It is not so black and white. I was in the contrasting environments with contrasting people repeatedly for me to finally have an accurate assessment of who I was on my own. For them it was to see in hindsight the value of someone different than them. I did eventually get accurate mirroring (for my art with a gallery owner for a gallery I now belong to as one example- was not supported for decades till I believed in myself and my work- then it manifested.) I also have had those that betrayed me come back years later to apologize. My point in my comment was to acknowledge that just because you are alone or unacknowledged, it does not always mean it is justified- but it can have purpose to the pain.

Pile 1 Today is my last day at the company I started at in May. It's my first time being fully titled as a lead in my industry. I have multiple awards and accolades from my previous company that was a bigger place so people really honored my knowledge on the industry because my new place was a new location and most of the workers are not from the industry. I really wanted the place to work out however I was immediately set up for failure. Unrealistic deadlines resistant management who delegated tasks to my team that weren't even industry wide part of the job mostly logistics and we were operations. I know my front end of the week team is brand new and they expressed how sad they were that I was leaving back end too but front end was relentless. In the past leadership and even at the company I'm leaving I'm known to be a very blunt but well spoken person who will fight the war for people to get what they deserve and get what is right and fair. I'm not afraid to go face to face with a manager and tell what people are thinking and why they're right etc. This always worked well at my last company ya know I'm a girl in stem and I started at 23 and I wasn't afraid to bully back these directors if I saw something wrong. I gained massive respect and with this company they don't have the senior management strength and checks and balances and i said that to them and while management agreed heavily with this they were not action based people and that's not continuous improvement that's busy work. I'm an results based person I have patience for who deserves it and shows effort and I think everyone deserves a fair chance to succeed even if new in the industry as it's a private one because of the government and the funding for it. One team member I have really appreciated the way I approached things. There's a very specific method to talking to people to get then on board with you. It tends to be leading that person to your idea. Whether they do or not depends on how much of a action taker they are. I grew up with my mother always being in extremely large corporate and she's been one of the few women in her industry her entire career up until the last few years. So I learned from her how to be scrappy but composed and classy. I was given advice years ago about bosses and director and other higher ups and its leadership is a lonely role everyone kisses up to you you cant tell what is genuine and what isnt Kind of like how celebrities are treated Bosses for the most part just want to be treated normally. The person giving the advice used to roast his boss and people were terrified because of it but the boss would laugh himself hoarse and in the end the kid with no degree got moved into a very high position in 5 years. At the end of the day they want to be talked to like a human and also you must remember the moment they walk out the building you guys are on equal playing field they have no real power over you. It's social construct and you have the ability to use it in a gentle approach to your benefit. This is the feedback I've gotten from people from thr past I promise I'm not just gassing. I made great friends with almost every single one of my managers I've ever had the ceo loved me and the general managers both loved me and told me I was so well spoken and said very unique things that you don't hear in the stem world To be honest I feel it's because while my mom is on massive corporate scale the family she grew up with are all classical trained musicians German jews who escaped the holocaust. They were big on pushing law and history, the arts and especially languages and music. People don't really know if they're not in it or trained but learning music teaches history it teaches tech, languages, science, philosophy everyone plays different and has a different approach to playing their instruments even if they're classically trained. Very interesting I kept getting this video on the top of my feed but I've been busy so I didn't watch it and I'm very glad I did. Thank you
