Great video! Just been bought one as a gift. Just curious, why are there two crisper trays supplied? I guess you can only use one at a time?
the silver crisper tray gives more airflow around the food. while the other acts as a base which you still can place food on there. best to use also paper airfryer liners
@@ZRKREVIEWS Thanks - mine has two identical crisper trays with it though (plus the wire rack) - maybe not all of them come with that.
Should That 4 silicone or plastic stands on the tray be removed to avoid plastic burning smell?
There are 4 rubber foot on the drip tray, they shouldn't be removed

Following your instructions I cooked some chips in my new air-fyrer (45 punds from costco btw, bargain). As I was cooking exactly 20 chips, I pressed the chip button 20 times. Four hours later and the chips are still not done and my kitchen smells of burnt plastic. You mentioned that there would be a burnt plastic smell at first. Is this normal? My fire alarm doesn't think so. Thanks

yes there will be plastic smell at first use but dont put any food in there. i normally cook fries in there and use maccains fries which i found easy to cook and the right taste, make sure to spray oil too

The pan that goes inside, did you take out the rubber? With the rubber you kinda have to force it in there

Put it in at an angle, put one corner in and then the rest with a slight twist. No force at all. It's hard to explain, I hope you get it.

Not really sometimes i do add the food like that with preheat on but i believe u can cancel preheat

Yes when u first start the airfryer it goes in preheat mode, you can skip that or ignore it

Anybody using this without the bottom, black tray b/c it's much more difficult to wash? By using just the top, clear tray that looks like a grill.
we are now using one of those oven friendly silicone basket, easy cleaner

Why is 200c the highest temp. ? I can't get it to go 350c

I hate the mandatory preheat. Is there a way to not have to preheat everything
I place the food inside and hit start, it preheats and beeps. If you ignore the beep that says "insert food" it will just continue to part 1 of cooking. Likewise, if you ignore beep two to "turn food" it will finish cooking regardless of you not opening it at all.

Did anyone notice at 2:27 "DO NOT ADD ANY OIL AT ALL WHATSOEVER." it says it cooks by air lol and this guy just almost blew up his air fryer
If you read the instructions it says its OK to spray cooking oil onto the food to make it crispier, but to NOT use cooking spray. So as it says in the picture, spraying oil from a bottle is fine, but to not use an aerosol spray.

I bought it and I don't like it. It doesn't cook property. Fries came out overcooked on the outside and raw on the inside.
Use maccains fries and spray olive oil comes out perfectly for me
