I had a lot of hope for this, but after seeing the poses in the solicitation along with the price I’m out. I appreciate the hard work you guys have put in but Hono has set a high bar for around $185 that I don’t think this meets.
I don’t think this earns its price point and tbh the only reason I bought in was its a favorite version of spidey for me, and it’s my first mondo. I’ll try it out, but I can’t say that this will be a line I stick with honestly. It may be the one and only for me purely cuz I love this version.

Canceled my order. Kind of lackluster with what you get. I mean Rogue came with a freaking Sentinal head. Here we get a Goblin head with another Spiderman head that looks almost identical. It’s a clear sign the interest isn’t there if it still hasn’t been sold out.

There have been a few quality control issues with some of their recent releases, I cannot deny that. Mondo's excellent customer service is usually able to help there though. However the price for this figure is reasonable. The standard He-Man and Skeletor are $235, and the Limited Edition Spider-Man is only $5 more. The Deluxe He-Man and Skeletor were $260, so price-wise Mondo haven't been raising their prices massively recently, if anything they have held them fairly steady. Kudos to Mondo! 😃
@@brandofigure It is hard for them to include everything and this figure comes with a good amount of accessories, but that is an interesting suggestion for crawling hands. I agree with you that it is a beautiful figure!
I went to put in a very early pre-order for this figure and had some issues with the free shipping working. I reached out to Mondo Support and as always, their excellent customer service helped me out immediately! So just wanting to give them a shout out, thanks everyone at Mondo! 😃❤
The blister packaging for the TMNT could be a full frontal piece of clear plastic with a bubble where the figure goes, and curved edges along the sides and bottom where the backing card slides into from the top. That way people can still hang the figures in their packaging, they can remove them occasionally and put them on a shelf and then can return them into the packaging by sliding up the card, putting the figure in the bubble and then sliding the cardboard with the art behind the figure once more. 🙂

Even so, the figures you are referring to that were $165 were from way back, we're looking at four years ago or more, and inflation is a thing. There was a big price jump around the time of their re-booted MOTU line though, essentially around the time of Deluxe He-Man onwards. Things have held fairly steady since then.
You know if the 90s Spider-Man we're to have revival, and they we're to introduce Toxin into it I have the idea of Flash Thompson becoming Toxins host as a nod to Agent Venom.
@@nicholashill8724 Toxin is a Symbiote offspring spawned by Carnage in the comics in 2005, he was a hero who had his own limited series in the mid to late 2000s, his host in the comics was a police officer named Patrick Mulligan.
Each to their own I guess. I like that the shading is a different colour on the different parts of the suit. For example it is black on the blue areas and a dark brown on the red areas.
This is an excellent Spiderman! The price is up there and a little bit expensive. But, i will be getting it. Are you guys planning on doing The Rhino? Because if so, that would be incredible. Especially the old school G1 Rhino. Cheers.

It's starting to sell out, it is on status 'Almost Gone' on Mondo's website, so this figure is selling. 🙂

This is not the truth Collectors dude ....Mondo started the MOTU Line with a pricepoint about 165$ and not 235 or 240$ this is the truth .....😉

Those thighs are wayyyy too big at the hips and the torso articulation should fit more smoothly so it's less noticeable/janky
From some angles it doesn't look as noticeable and other angles it does. Interesting observation.
