U don't even have to trace around them. Daniel Cooper has shown that u can put a dollop of uv resin on top of the film then press the cabachon on top of it, pressing down hard to ensure it spreads beneath the whole cabachon and no bubbles under it then shine a uv light on top then u can cut around. The uv bonds the cabachon to the film when u do it that way!! Much easier than tracing! 😃👍💙
She did exactly that in this video! I think Michelle was just showing some ways it can be done. She does show both, though.
I was going to say the same thing . His way takes less time, and turns out beautiful . Plus much easier .
I was going to say this is how I do it instead of tracing
That's what I do with paint skins. So much easier.
I’ve done it with scrapbooking paper and nail foils makes it so much easier ☺️
These turned out so pretty I also do paint pouring and have lots of skins for jewelry. Best way to do it and to make your life easier is to take your clear pendant and find the spot where you want it and put little dollop of UV resin put your clear pendant on it and I with a handheld light and cure it once I have enough that are stuck to the paint skin. I go around and cut them that way saves you from having to trace and sometimes you get that black line.
This is absolutely the best way.
I love watching you do resin. You always say we, like we are there with you. They are all beautiful.
You mean your not??? LOL
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 Thanks for making us feel like it.
I love little windows. The films are amazing. These are really pretty. You can also set little like a coin on the film and make different designs when you heat it.
Omg😮! They're all gorgeous but I have to say the ones with the acrylic skins are hands down my favorite ❤. Debbie is so nice to give you those skins! Just proves to never throw things away. Even the little clippings from the films. Some companies send out those clippings as little thank you gifts. Thank you for a great video and music
Debbie, I love those pink skins that you developed for Michelle. What a great idea and beautiful jewelry to boot.
Everything turned out Gorgeous Michelle
They are all beautiful but. Those paint skins...omgoodness, gorgeous!!!
BEAUTIFUL ❤❤❤❤❤ The teardrop with the Cooper/Gold looks like a Monarch butterfly wing. 😊
Beautiful jewelry!!! The TV does not do them justice.
Stunning! Love the fallish one and the one paint skin that looks like a butterfly wing. Love them all.😊❤
The films are dichroic, once you heat them if you put something heavy on it they flatten out. I started my crafting journey with paint pouring and have a bunch of skins! So fun and easy to make jewelry
Also, love the new time, I sometimes don’t make it until 9:00!
New time!!! 6:00 EST
Wonderful! Amazing work Michelle
Thanks Tracey!
Hi Michelle, they all came out great. You too, have a blessed day.🙏🤗💗
Thank you for showing how to do the films in jewelry. They turned out beautifully and I can’t wait to try it. Love the jewelry but I love to watch you bling out the hippo, others, and your extras.
I do paint pours also. I’ve done bracelets, rings, necklaces and earrings. They come out amazing! These skins are beautiful. 🙂♥️
They're all stunning, I think my favorite one is the gold film teardrop pendant, Awesome jewelry Michelle.
These jewelry pieces came out so BEAUTIFUL Michelle 😍 ❤Gail
❤🎉 love Debbie's paint skins! All absolutely beautiful Michelle, thank you for teaching us 🎉❤
I’ve been making gemstone jewelry for the past 20 years. I wanted to expand my skills with resin. So many of those look like real stones, opal, malachite, sodalite or blown glass! Gorgeous! Shout out to Debbie for those lovely skins. Also want to try that. Do you think you could just top coat the film to avoid bubbles before attaching the cab? Love this episode!
Possibly! Give it a try!
A nail polish brush is wonderful
When you said jewelry, I bet you could hear me yelling Yeah all the way to Florida! You know I love your jewelry videos! Thanks for another excellent one!
Love it!!
The dichroic film is interesting but I am really hooked on acrylic paint pour when it's mixed with Floetrol - the resulting sheets make wonderful pendants and earrings.
These are really very luxurious, I just love them. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love watching all of your projects! UV or not! My favorites are always the resin molds, though. Very pretty!❤❤❤
All of them are absolutely beautiful. You did a great job with them 😻💜😻💜😻
Absolutely stunning Michelle so the first time I saw this technique I really wanted to try it, but I didn’t have any films so I started playing around with my cricket vinyl. It didn’t crinkle so well but if you put it on top of bubble wrap and heat it it makes an awesome effect. I use the color changing vinyl. They turned out really pretty. Thank you for sharing. Have a blessed and wonderful night.❤❤❤❤
They all are really beautiful pendants Michelle. You did a great job!
Hi, they are beautiful. Have a great day too.
They are beautiful, Michelle ❤😊
All really pretty.
These are allways amazing ❤ When I start my resin working few years ago, this was one of my first techniques and i don't never boring it ❤
Absolutely stunning! 🤩 love love love them! ❤
I love the jewelry videos & saved this one for future use !! The paint skins
Debbie gave you are gorgeous. I believe I heard you can make them yourself without doing acrylic pours-don’t know that for a fact thou. Thank you Thank you Michelle !! I love the blues & purple ones. Have a great day
They all turned out beautifully ❤ 😮😮! Thanks for sharing this tutorial 😊
Gorgeous jewelry Michelle ❤❤❤
Those all came out GORGEOUS! 😍 I like the ones made with the dichroic films the best! 🧡🧡🧡 I make similar jewelry, but I use a few short cuts that make it go so much faster and easier! Instead of making the cabochons myself out of resin, I buy ones made out of jeweler's glass, & then I dab a bit of clear-drying glue (I use either Glossy Accents or Fantastic Glaze & Glue) onto whatever I am attaching the cabochon to, & then place the cabochon on it , press it down, & let it dry. Once it's dry, THEN I cut it out, rather than tracing the shape & cutting it out first. That way, there's no tracing & you only have to cut once. I usually put the finished pieces into metal trays, like you did for some of them, or, if I'm making 1 inch circle ones, I will put them into a bottle cap & glue a magnet onto the back. Now, I know what I just said doesn't involve using any resin & I realize you have to because that's what your channel is about, but I thought you might want to know about attaching the cabochon first & cutting it out after. 😉
Thanks! Yes, I will use resin but next time I will just cut after it's cured! That will save me loads of time! Love the tips and tricks!
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS AMAZING
They turned out amazing
Love the paint chips...great idea..have to try...thank you
Gorgeous! Now I want to do some more, too, but I have to finish other projects first. 😁
They are beautiful 😍 such rich colors
Ok, so beautiful jewelrys ❣️I love seeing you make them 👀😍
comes out beautiful
Viewing from the caribbean your uv pendants came out beautiful your the best michelle god bless
I have been wanting to try the fusable sheets to do pendants. Now I REALLY want to try them! All are absolutely gorgeous. ❤
Very pretty!!!
These are beautiful!!!
If you look back at this video, check out the 4 pendants you have grouped to the left. From a distance, the bottom one looks like a person holding a baby! So cool!
I love the new time. Love the pendants. 😊
New time!!! 6:00 EST
Wow. So pretty.and it don't cost that much to make. I bet these would be great for fund raisers.nice
Love all of them
I’m so excited that you did this video today. This was my plan for my after work resin project tonight. I have those exact Angelina fusible films and I had yet to try them. So now I know they’ll work and I can not wait to get home now! Also the ones you made are beautiful 🤩
Love the films! Beautiful pieces❤
I looked through the comments and didn't see anyone else suggesting this if you take a piece of cardboard or something flat after you crinkle and fuse your plastic pieces then you smash the cardboard down on top of it while it's still hot and it flattens it out very well.
Love them!
Beautiful!❤
I’m partial to the blues but the brown black one is gorgeous
When I got your notification, I thought to myself …is it nine o’clock already? I like the early time, that way I’m not in bed. Will you do it always at this time? I hope so! The jewelry that you made is beautiful ! Thank you for sharing! 💕
New time!!! 6:00 EST
Love these , thank you for the great ideas !
❤best one yet
Oh thank you so much!
Beautiful ❤️
Beautiful ❤ thanks for sharing 🧡🍁🍂💛
Fun! I thought you were going to back the film heart in white though. It sure was pretty with the white behind it!
Lovely jewelry!
I was but I just ended up doing it all in black 😑
My favorite one is the teardrop one with the paint skin 🥰
You're early!! Lol
New time!!! 6:00 EST
I think ya forgot to backcoat the heart with UV resin. 😅 You had it sitting up with ones with paint skins.
These all turned out beyond GORGEOUS, Michelle!! BEAUTIFUL JOB!!!! 💜🥰💜🤯💜😍💜
You made me go find it and check it LOL Yep, it's back coated LOL
No, she did. Stop the video at around 41:23 & you'll see that the backs of both of the hearts are shiny.
And just like paint skins, U can use leftover resin and just spread it thin on a clean piece of silicone mat! 😃
I used black nail polish on the back of my paint skins and I didn’t have to use any resin or paint at all one or two coats to black nail polish and it’s all done
You could use silver you could use gold. You could use any colour you like could use complementing colour of the pendant or the paint skin.
Omgosh Michelle you outdid yourself these are stunning although I'm a 2 part epoxy girl I still enjoy the process of uv resin and the beauty it gives as a top coat! I had no idea Debbie was into fluid art! I teach fluid art 😂 and run a fluid art help group 😂 the skins are usually made on a silicone mat or plastic wrap 🌯 just for future knowledge 😉 I have something I need to send you now!!!! Ill write you a note with it and explain how to use it but the effects are insane!! Oh quick tip with fusing, use a pallet knife add heat to the pallet knife as you move it across the films it will help keep it flat and bond at the same time. Hope that made sense if not I can do a short clip to show you what I'm trying to say 😂 much love sweet girl 💖💞 🤗
You know what would be great fun?!! I day where you are the student and Debbie is teaching you fluid art!! That would be amazing to watch!!! ❤❤
We’ve talked about it!!
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 oh I hope you do! At least let her teach you to make skins so you can use them in your resin work! I love when Debbie is on she's so great!!! I want her to paint my husbands Chihuahua for me as a gift for him on Christmas!! Idk how to contact her so maybe you can pass this along to her and ask for me?
@@cwv-artistry email me and I will pass it on to her (glitznglittermichelle@gmail.com)
❤❤❤❤ gorgeous
Very beautiful.
I'm pretty sure that really thick film is window film from Temu. I have some of in.
The Angelina film is the only film that was made to bubble up and create a good texture when heated. It also will stick to itself if it touches when hot. However it isn't a permanent bond so I wouldn't trust it to stay on a necklace ect. If you really want lots of texture on the film get Don to help you and some one hold the film with 2 pairs of tongs or tweezers and heat the film from the bottom in mid air. I have used a candle and done it on my own, but you must keep it moving so you don't melt holes into it.
If u do both sides while fusion together & push down with piece of cardboard
Hope I’m not being a nasty person, love your videos
I was going to say the something.
I love tips!!! Thanks!
Love them all!! Would love to find a source for paint skins...they are beautiful!!! xo
I just love watching you work. You are so creative. I’m a newbie to resin, and your videos are so helpful. Do you have a Facebook group?
Welcome!! Yes I do! It’s linked in all my description boxes! Make sure to answer the questions so you will be approved!!
I was wondering why you popped the clear out.
An easier way is to do every layer in the mold. Even the back coat.
That's how I do mine, anyway😊
The strips look like what I got from Temu.
Silicone mat and they peel right off! It's the run off from her paint pours
shell there another way to do this, fill the mold halfway put the film in and cover with another layer of resin
Can you show how to use nail foil ? For the pendants.
Thank you! Love all your videos!
I’m not sure exactly what you mean.
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 The nail foils with UV resin I can not figure it out.
After heating press with card stock to make it flat
Mischelle, I have been having a problem getting my cheap UV resin to set up. I put it on a clear tray with a clear cover and let Mother Nature shine her pure sun light and the get hard. The lamps are frustrating.😊 bought 2 UV lamps and the lights are white?? What ever God provides. Your neighbor from across the state.😊
The word that stood out to me is "cheap", I'm thinking that's your problem. I've never ever had a problem with not curing with Let's Resin brand.
Love these! My problem is how to decide what to charge for different items. How do you decide?
Time and materials is how I do it.
Can you do a video on bracelets.
Hmmm.... I've never made one before!! I don't even have a mold!
Do you have a video on buffing?
No I don't I'm sorry!
Beautiful! My favorite one, is the yellow brown teardrop one. I am a more fall color kinda girl😊 Do you put them on chais to sell them, or just pendants?
I just sell them as pendants
I am wondering when I watch on some utube they talk about washing your skins if you have used silicone in the paint , need to know why ,not sure if it crack in the jewellery ,I watch daily videos from Glitz
I have no idea about that??
These are so pretty! 😍 would regular jewelry glue work instead of the e6000?
I’ve never used that so I’m not entirely certain
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1Okay, thank you!

Debbie doesn't have a channel
When you put the acrylic paint to back coat them did you put U-V resin on top of acrylic paint and put under the light?
Yes
💙💜
Love watching all your videos. Thank you for all you do. My question is, i bought the same lets resin uv lamp, my plastic tray seems too small. I can't slide it in and out. It always falls down on one side. I have a really hard time getting it to even stay. It's very frustrating 😑
Am I doing something wrong?
Did you flip it? It's not a square tray it's kind of almost rectangular. If it doesn't fit get ahold of Let's Resin and they will make it right with you.
Yeah I've tried it every way. I'll try and contact them. Thanks
Can you attach the blanks to the films and then cut it out???
I'm hearing that you can in the comments, I'll have to try that!
are you doing your own skins???????? i have tons of paint
No my friend does that and gives me the skins
Your early

I found out the hard way that you can't use alcohol on uv resin... it ruins them...
Oh wow!! I’ve never tried!
