  • Do you find History a snore to teach (and to learn)? Yeah, me too! FINALLY, there is a book that MAKES SENSE! If you've heard of the ‪@TheTuttleTwins‬' books - this is the 229 pg History book from their author, Connor Boyack! It's written in a very similar style to those mini-books! You can use this as you history curriculum for the year or use it as a supplement!

      Did you also get the curriculum PDF worksheets to go along with it? And if so, do you recommend?

      @@karin4993 I haven't gotten those yet, but maybe we'll get them for next year with Vol. 2! I didn't even really pay attention to those, but everything they put out is good!

    Ive been flipping through both of mine, i absolutely love them already. I don’t want to stop reading it. I just know my sons gonna love it. Im also bringing my own studies in to make this curriculum pop. No its not very religious either! My son is gonna be intrigued and just love learning history this year :)

      @@bethart1985 Totally understand that! We've just read those smaller books as bedtime stories here and there (not the whole book at once though, lol)

    Does the book take a whole school year to go through or can you do it in half? I want to do US history next year and was wondering if I could do both this book and the newer one. Thanks

      It just depends on how much you want to read each week. You could read for 20min, twice a week and probably get through 1.5 of the books or more!

    When you homeschool do you have to do specific lessons per grade?

    • @TheJohnsonCrew
      @TheJohnsonCrew  11 месяцев назад +1

      Not for history! Certain states have grade level objectives they want you to go by, but even within the school system, kids are in different levels even within the same grade, so I think you can make your case for what you're choosing to teach your child in each grade depending on their abilities and interests each year.

      @@TheJohnsonCrew Thank you so much! I'm totally new to this. Are there homeschool groups where moms trade off teaching subjects that you are aware of?
