I have a 2006 sportster 1200 put the vance and hines short shots on it also. It was very loud ended up putting in the quiet baffles and it sounds much better.

Thanks I got it installed today but I need to take it out tomorrow, wrap it in some black titanium exhaust wraps and grab one of those joint sets to tighten that one stupid nut. One thing I really don't like the short shots is that now my right heel is just resting on the heat shield and I don't think I can get use to it, do you have the same problem?
In your video you said you had to double nut where the flanges goes. Can you show me. Did you get any codes. Usually you have to do a new air flow and fuel pack.
wow thanks. I was wondering what tool I will need to change my full exhaust in the future. also I know you used to have V&H eliminator 300- I took off the packaging and it sounds throatier and a lil louder I guess. have you heard of anyone does it lol.
Just an FYI if you strip it or chip it get a torch from Home Depot for like $50 and heat that part of the nut with the head.. and grab some pliers to turn her out ..
I heat it with a lighter and bang it couple times with a wrench and was able to get it out.
MK we gotta get you a Milwaukee cordless ratchet and stubby impact wrench! Saves on that sweat 😓
I wanna eventually put big radius on my 883 eventually. What do you think of those? I like the look but never heard them on that bike

@@CantTreadOnMe yeah, O2 sensor, replaced it. Engine turned off.
What are you going to tune it with?
what size rear tire do you have installed looks bigger than stock
