@@laidbackent the first thing a good vocal coach will tell anyone who's drank and damaged their vocal chords for years to do is, rest their voice for months at a time and to only sing softly if necessary at all. Jojo will get his voice back if he stays on this regimen and reconnects with proper technique, support and registers

Yep 1st time I noticed was on soul train 2014. I love these cats but I wasn’t broken up by missing them when they came to Dallas.. by the time people got to their seats Jodeci was getting off stage
@@cronb2009 they were half way finished by the time I got to my seat in Dallas. When Jo Jo did sing without the track he sounds terrible. I still enjoyed the little I saw. It was a traffic nightmare in Dallas.

His voice is gone. All the drinking and drugging caught up to him.I just saw them in Memphis and his parts were cut out except for maybe 2 songs. And when he tried on those 2 occasions his voice was very weak and shaken. . I've read where he's working with a vocal coach now to try to bring his voice back to life. And I'm praying that he gets it back.
@@memphobro Jodeci has openly said they never did drugs outside of smoking weed. They all had horrific drinking problems and got help, Jojo smoked cigarettes which is bad for him being vocalist especially people with high falsetto voices. Charlie Wilson had a bad drug addiction & he ended up hopeless, he said in interviews he never smoked cigarettes and Charlie sounds great. Jojo brother Kci the drinking damn near cost him his life but he said he smoked weed but never cigarettes, Kci sounds great as well. The main reason Whitney Houston lost her voice is because she was a heavy cigarette smoker, on top of drinking & drugs. The cigarettes kills the vocals especially the older these artist get.

I was just stating the obvious that an overindulgence of alcohol/drugs or tobacco of any kind can hinder your vocal instrument; therefore, your career. Like I said, I wish JoJo complete healing of his vocal chords because dude was one of my favorites. I'm excited to see them again in the near future except with a fully sober and healthy lineup.

I saw them last week in Hammond Indiana jojo sang all by himself but when I say on the last song while they were bowing jojo bounced lmao 😂
