That Hondo Ohnaka animatronic is one of Disney's best. So fluid. Fun attraction...great vid as always 4K.
I think it’s actually better than the Avatar animatronic.

My favorite thing is the walkthrough and seeing all the amazing details! I also enjoy hearing the dialogue all around you, and it’s quite humorous! The Hondo animatronic is really amazing! It’s something that Disney does very well!

I really enjoy going through the queue as well! And Hondo is definitely the most realistic animatronic I’ve seen thus far! I just found out that he was gone for awhile, so I’m so glad he was back for my ride! Thanks so much as always 😊
my only pet peeve about this ride is that they don’t make the fact of the falcons cockpit being on the side, it’s like they made it in the middle, which is actually possible with the YT-1300! the YT-1300 is a highly customizable ship!
I'm seriously wondering if Hondo is an animatronic, or if he's an actor. Wow that tech has come such a long way.

I’m so pumped because I’m going to be in Disney in less than a week for my senior class trip and I’m so excited for this ride. Heck I’m excited for all of it because I haven’t been to Disney in over a decade
“Get out of here and go make Hondo some money!” YeeeeeHaw!!! This attraction can get rough sometimes. Who all have been in it when it really crashes like this…all systems down, etc?? Feels like hitting a pothole at 60 mph!! “Well my friends, that could have been much worse! OK it’s much worse.”😜 Hoping it wasn’t too rough for you, 4K!!! This was a fun watch…got my dopamine fix for the day!!
I should post my video from DL- 2 teenage girl pilots, left one had her left up on the seat screaming at the top of her lungs. Their 2 gunner friends were just as loud. The look on my face must have been priceless because they apologized to me as they left. The decibels almost makes it unwatchable. 😏 #savetheengineer.
@@Liz.R rode at WDW with a group of international visitors, young ladies, only one of them knew it was participatory…she was a gunner, her friends were the pilots and the other gunner…and she was screaming at them the whole time (i was embarrassed i knew those words in spanish!!)

Oh yes, this was probably my roughest ride ever😂 I was the only one participating, so the whole ride was a disaster and did end up with some back pain after lol. That’s honestly the only reason why I don’t ride this often, cause it’s just too bumpy for me if people don’t participate! I still had a lot of fun though, and I’m glad you enjoyed this Rick! Thanks so much as always 😃

Yes, you have some control over it like a video game but it’s also like a simulator too. You feel like you’re actually moving.

I still haven’t ridden it yet, I have really bad motion sickness but this doesn’t look much worse than Star Tours and I can ride that. How does this compare ?
I’d say it’s very similar to Star Tours, but this ride can be way more bumpy since sometimes other guests don’t participate
@@4KWDW it’s less bumpy the more you participate?
I didn’t find it to be very shaky or stuff, was like being in a car on a bumpy road so I think those like u who have motion sickness could do it with no problem! It’s super fun, was like a really cool immersive video game

That’s a good question! I barely ever ride this one, so I really don’t know what is considered high
Lucky having Hondo Ohnaka back when you filmed (or u timed it that way?) He was "on vacay" for about a month now when I'd catch a live stream. To bad you all had a kid or you could have gone into "Chewy" mode (but sometimes adults mess those buttons/sequence up also) What is it with the left pilot not hitting that brake?? Just hit it! I was looking at Jollywood tix & the opening nite isn't sold out, surprised? Thx for the coaxium 💜
I’ve only seen the chewy mode on a live stream once, and I don’t remember where I saw it. When I go in a couple weeks there will be five of us, but I’m not sure I’ve got the right five people to make that work, especially since I would need a sixth to get chewy mode to work
@@CraigSiegel32 I’ve read you can ask a cast member about activating it…but that was only one post.
Can anyone here confirm that “Chewy Mode” can be activated directly by a cast member?

I honestly had no idea Hondo wasn’t there lol. I haven’t been on this since last year, so I definitely wasn’t up to speed😂 but glad I perfectly timed his return! Lol I was the only one who actually played along, so safe to say I had some back pain after this ride🙃 I think people may be waiting to see what the first Jollywood is like from reviews to see if it’s worth it. The event looks amazing on paper, but the experience could always be underwhelming but I personally don’t think that’ll be the case. Thank you as always Liz!
While I understand the issue with logistics(since their location is far away from the cockpit), it would have made the experience much cooler if 2 of the people were separated into those rotating gunner positions.
Ive said with this ride its about everyone participating, depending on your "crew" you might have a seven year old piloting the ship and, lets be honest, they kinda stink at flying 🤣

Is this like the Simpsons/Spider-man at Universal or better technology for stop motion? I can go on any real roller coaster just fine but for some reason these rides make me want to hurl.

@@terencesdurag2823- No, I can ride in cars for hours, fish on boats bobbing, ride on cruise ships with no issues. But for some reason these rides get me sick.
This ride is so lame. Look at the Falcon at the end of the video. Do you see any blasters on the right side of the cockpit? Yet in the ride, somehow they magically appear. Also do you see that most of the ship is left of the cockpit, but in the game you are just flying in a tube. It doesn't feel like the Millennium Falcon at all.
