I love the color and paint job on that truck, it really pops! That blue is a little light but it's kinda hard to not call this truck "Papa Smurf" . I'm from the Smurf era so I think they were cool so..... Can't put my finger on what else that blue was used for but it's cool. Nice job guys hope that your holiday season is going well and continues to be great!

I just can’t help but think about if there is a premature failure on the steering box or something. The amount t of prep work to have a new one put in with all new paint and such is insane.
I had built them over inflate kits for my 389 and them little cylinders don’t last too long. They seize up right where the rod comes out of the cap. Been trying to get the proper over inflate leveling valves instead
Hey y’all I may be late to this suggestion because of how far you are with the body work and paint but do you think it’s possible to incorporate the kindigit design door/sleeper handles. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen anyone doing that unless it wouldn’t be possible on a mechanical side.
PDI Pete looks great. Love the color combo of it. But I do have a question about something you all did a while back when you all had fans send in pictures of paint schemes for a RED,WHITE and BLUE Pete. Did you ever build and paint the winners paint scheme? Or did I miss it somewhere?
When you get down with the truck how much time and effort and what would be the total cost if you took to a shop somewhere around about 3 to 400,000 dollars
Instead of connecting air cylinders to the leveling valves, you could have installed a solenoid valve that bypasses the leveling valves and fills or dumps the bags. I built an electronic leveling system that uses leveling sensors Instead of leveling valves and everything can be controlled from the cab.
@@ruxoneto6560 I didn't say Anything about any Pete logo wheels!!!!! I said I Love the 24.5 wheels BETTER than 22.5 wheels!!!!! READ CAREFULLY before assuming.
I know of a Ford Louisville that was rebuild from the ground up he cut and lengthen the chassis ran air bags and dropped a big hi rise bunk i remember looking over it when he was building it had a VTA 903 from a offshore race boat in it and the cooling system was like no other aluminium 8 core with electric pumps and thermo fans and a clutch fan on the block evey component was polished all the hoses were steel fibre and inside it was totally rebuilt he died the week he finished it and didn't get to put rego on it his kids had no interest in trucks and it sat in a shed for 10 years some parts were taken off and sold or stolen and it was finally sold to a guy that lives near me and he has just got it on the road he said it's the most powerful truck he's ever driven the owner knew what he was doing the things the guy did to improve the brakes and steering 😅
I had to laugh when you said you were entering this truck in the "working class"... Obviously I don't know anything about the show rules for classification, but when I think of a working truck, I think of one that runs 5- days a week, 12 months a year, and runs in any kind of weather. Is it not going to have a bed in the sleeper anymore ? I've never seen anyone that actually works their truck take the bed out and fill up the sleeper with speakers. Talking about the dummy stack, yes it's true you won't see anything coming out except heat, UNLESS you run in areas that are extremely cold. In extremely cold weather the exhaust looks like a steam locomotive. I've run in temps as low as -34F, and it looks like the truck is on fire going down the road, but this truck will never see weather that severe... I am glad that you are making both stacks functional though, because it looks really tacky when there is an exhaust pipe hanging under the truck that isn't attached to anything. It looks like someone forgot to finish the exhaust. I certainly appreciate the level of detail that has gone into this truck, but to me it's a big waste of money, but I'm looking at it strictly from an O/O standpoint... That said, I would like to drive it just to see how much different it is with all of the sound deadening that has been put in it. There's no doubt that it will be extremely quiet, and just doing the sound deadening is a huge project...
I recently saw a truck in Australia with a set of dummy stacks on it was a Kenworth cabin from the 70s sitting on a modern European chassis DAF we just looked at it and shook our heads the guy driving it loved it he thought he was cooler than a cucumber 🥒 at sub zero when he was driving off the dummy stacks just cracked me up i though why would you do it

You guys are a bunch of fools. Tim never had anything to do with this build. He only showed it In one of his videos while building Westlins truck. If you watch and follow the videos they ran out of time and didn't want to take this truck unfinished. They posted a whole video about it.

Fuel tank I-panels LOOK AWESOME even with the ends of fuel cap ends imo,, instead of 4ward /inward of the fuel tanks.

There should be a smoke machine hooked to the exhaust, you know, for show effects!
Need to paint the mirror arm braces on the cowl to blend in with the paint
It's gonna have custom stainless mirrors & brackets 2 pop against the blue paint
Gonna be a nice truck
Looks like Rolls Royce Galileo blue to me 👍🏻
IMO a good working truck does not drag the ground or have fenders and a bumper that get broken from roadkill
I personally would rather have a dummy kit exhaust. It keeps your exhaust so much cleaner.
