AURORA is 27 now, but was, I think, 24 when this performance happened. If you react to Murder Song (5,4,3,2,1) at the 2015 Nobel Peace Price concert, you're really using a time machine. She was 18 or 19 then. The reaction you had to her in this video pretty much sums up my feelings, too.
She truly is a beautiful pearl in a sea of music.

Yes! A very good suggestion.
She has a very calming voice, and I've seen comments from people using her music to fall asleep. I've done it myself more than once. I see similar comments about her interviews even. People find them calming, but apparently that's also because of her personality and her views on life. She has a lot of (IMO) must see performances , and also has good music videos. Amazing covers as well. Looking forward to more 😊.

This performance was on March 1st 2019, so she was "only" 22 (close to 23) here, but she is 27 now. She was "discovered" at a small festival in Norway on Feb 28th and March 1st 2014 at age 17 (3 months before 18), so she has been doing this for over 9 years now. Well she was performing even before she was discovered as well at small venues.
If you watch this same song privately at Nidarosdomen she hits higher notes than in this one. She also hits high note in "Black Water Lilies" either live at the Honda Stage or SWSX 2016.

Aurora has a fair range and awesome control, but she doesn't "flex" with her voice. Despite her capabilities she has no formal voice-training. She does flex her brain though. There are often more than one plan behind the things she writes and says and she love to subvert expectations. How ever, on stage she mostly taps into the emotional to perform, so it feels genuine and not "flexy" at all.

@zamovinar5009 Check out - Hi Ren by Ren to start, he is a multi-instrumentalist, he is a rapper, singer, producer... he is completely independent. He suffered from misdiagnosed Lymes disease for 10 yrs, causing him psychosis and chronic fatigue and pain. He is still undergoing treatments but also still putting out music. Music is his way to cope and his way to connect. He is a very talented artist, and his underlying messaging is amazing to. 👏 ♥️
