    Love my 1992 332 i got a couple of years ago. Haven't mowed much grass with it but have done plenty of tilling with it. Came with an original 48" hydraulic tiller that runs off rear pto. I have it running mechanically good now just needs some tlc on body now.

    That takes me back to my early childhood days when my dad owned his 1988 JD 332, I just love the way that Yanmar 3TN66UJ sounds under a load. If only I didn't convince him to upgrade to a zero-turn rider (IE, the Cub Cadet Commercial M50s that I don't have anymore), he probably would've still kept that old JD (and MTD Huskee lawn tractor, but who cares about that thing), and gotten much more use out of it. I will never forget how much of a workhorse that was, it was always used as the rough cut tractor (probably because of that 46 inch deck, which nearly cuts like a brush hog) always used in a section of their back yard where it always gets overgrown (and occasionally the other section that doesn't get overgrown), and it always just plowed through that grass like it wasn't even there (better than the MTD did with its same size 46 inch deck).

      Any idea where your dad's 332 ended up? Would be pretty cool to find it and buy it back. The Yanmar diesel definitely has a good sound - not quite like the Onan sound I'm used to but it runs like a sewing machine. They make an excellent rough-cut mower for sure.

      @@MichaelTJD60It was sold (along with the Huskee) to the Cub Cadet dealer he bought the M50s from. It's probably "somewhere down in Texas", and I haven't seen it since, maybe someone bought it and put it to good use, and will probably keep it indefinitely, which honestly, I wouldn't blame him, those things will run forever with all the proper maintenance done.

      @@graysonsvacsandmowers5426 That's for sure. Luckily they made a lot of 332's so if you decide to find another one they're pretty easy to come across. The market has them pretty cheap these days.

      @@MichaelTJD60 That'll be good, once I own a house with a yard large enough, maybe I'll eventually get one (or any other 300 series if I can find one). I did almost have my chance with one back when I was in high school that was owned by my dad's friend, but that project didn't really go really far, cause after I got it running, finding a mower deck (any of the 3) for it was easier said than done without costing an arm and a leg, and I eventually had to let it go since me and my family moved overseas at that time.

    This was surprisingly relaxing, like a white noise machine for a mower enthusiast. I had to watch it three times to finish the video because i fell asleep to the mower twice 😂 great video Mike! Very enjoyable

      Lol sometimes the sound puts me to sleep too! I used to study to these videos when I was in college. As long as I wasn't tired, they were actually pretty useful. Glad you enjoyed the video!

      They certainly are. I'm hoping to equip my future 755 the same way - I've found a set of pallet forks and a grapple to be super handy and have been getting by with just a standard bucket lately.

    You can’t go wrong with a 755 series tractor. My church has one that they have owned since it was brand new and it has never let us down. The engine got rebuilt about 2 years ago since it was running really rough and man it runs like new! It’s probably my favorite piece of equipment to mow with besides the scag turf tiger II. Fun fact about our 755 is it was only 1 of 2 2WD models sold at the dealership which I don’t see the 2WD models being sold very often on the market right now. I hope you find a good 755 they are definitely one of the best tractors ever built by John Deere

      @MichaelTJD60  Год назад

      I'm actually looking at a 2WD 755 at the moment but 4WD would be ideal. To this day I think they're the best compact tractor Deere ever built, along with the 855 (and up until a few years ago, one of the only models that weren't actually built by Yanmar overseas). Seems like the market for them is pretty dry right now as everyone wants to hold on to them.
