I love the way Bowser is portrayed here, because it's extremely accurate to his actual game counterpart. He may be an absolute ass to Mario and friends, but he does legitimately care for his minions and family. That's why in every single game they willingly throw themselves at whatever Bowser wants them to. "Regard your soldiers as your children, and they will follow you into the deepest valleys; look upon them as your own beloved sons, and they will stand by you even unto death.".
iirc, Nintendo specifically requested Bowser be depicted in Wreck-It Ralph's "Villain's Circle" drinking tea. They could've asked for him to come off as tough, but... he has an image they want to maintain. Hell, look at any Nintendo Direct that addresses parents! Parental lock, age restrictions, who's there? Bowser w/ Jr.!
He can be Mario's rival, he can kidnap Princess Peach, but as the years went on, depending on the story (Especially Bowser's Inside Story), there's more respect between sides. This is especially poignant whenever there's an _outside force_ threatening the Mushroom Kingdom. I still love the final scene of BIS with Starlow and Bowser. He's no ruthless dictator, and that means a lot.

The way they draw the differences between the armies is dope as hell too, for example the death egg beam firing caused eggman's entire army to rout because they know he'd 100% shoot them too if they were in the line of fire, but Bowser's army stayed put behind him tanking the blast, and because of that loyalty shown throughout the entire battle he ended up surrounding eggman with his army, ensuring the win.
It also shows, in-context, no matter what, Eggman was hosed. Even if Bowser had died, we’ve seen what happens if he disappears on them before: the Koopa Troop doubles down and keeps the work going.
If Eggman goes down, his army shuts down or scatters. If Bowser goes down, his army declares "For King Bowser!" and proceeds to dogpile you.

Metal Sonic has the most justified crashout from losing Chance Time.
Chance Time truly is both a great blessing and bane to many Mario Party players...it can make or break a game depending on results. I seen some crazy turn around situations happen in some RUclips videos.

You know the funny part about the comments about Mario being "An Italian Plumber", is that in the Mushroom Kingdom, pipes lead to other planets, dimensions, and alternate realities. Being able to fix pipes in a world like that is basically being an Astrophysicist.
I love that they made Eggman's first line in the battle "I've come to make an announcement."
Not too many people seem to get that reference, or at least don't acknowledge it.

I feel like Bowser really would see it that way. When you face off against Eggman, you don't really think he's fighting for more than superiority over Sonic. In contrast, against Mario, there's something more _raw_ to it... Maybe because those hits aren't against any sort of armor, OR the more _relevant_ way, maybe it's because he's getting revenge for all the troops that got hurt by Mario's antics on his adventure.
... I mean, I don't think so, but I just enjoy presenting the scenario.
For Peach's castle, they weren't using the size of peach's castle in that image they were saying the castle is about 60,000 tons, and then calculating the force needed to send that into orbit.
Between Bill vs Discord and Bowser vs Eggman i don't know which animation i like more, but the plot, choreography, music, and analysis has me favor this death battle more. I think it's genuinely my favorite one so far. No other death battle has had me rewatch the episode for 3+ days over and over sitting through multiple different reaction videos. It's a masterpiece and as someone who doesn't actively follow DB, this match up came out of nowhere and yet it topped all the season finale episodes so far imo, this battle had no right to be this damn good.
This fights was animated by MORO production and I highly recommend checking out some of his videos like Indie Cross Episode 1 or Helluva Boss Vs Murder Drones

Just setting this straight jr is the reason FURY BOWSER was brought into the battle and fury carried and also he jumped in front of his dad whether he died ir not he was ready to give it his all little guy did it for me no hate tho ✌️
Bowser has a whole kingdom and army that love him and will throw everything on the line for him. He has immense magic power and an excellent grasp of technology (when he wants to use it). He's harder to kill than Dracula with sunscreen. Despite claiming to hate the good guys of his 'verse, they have friendly moments and he'll team up with them quickly against a greater threat. Going by how loyal his people are, for him being a so-called conqueror, his kingdom must be a nice place.
Nintendo seriously managed to make Bowser into their version of Doctor Doom.

Technically yes Omega is created by eggman but excommunicated in disowned.
Mainly because Omega wants to kill him and everything he has ever made to prove once and for all that he is his greatest creation in his only creation so yeah there's a reason why he's not there.
If all 8 Koopalings were there turning Eggman's army into bricks, it would probably start to look like a normal Mario level.😂

They really put their whole foot in this episode, I respect it. That said, Fall Guys Vs Among Us was not in my Bingo board. What's even more surprising is that the song for this particular episode featured *Jason Borba!* Y'know, the singer for Bury The Light? Now _that_ was *definitely* not in my cards.

Bowser protecting his army from Infinite's gravity and the death egg's beam.
The fake eggman robot from heroes at the beginning of the battle.
The elite trio Bowser's Inside Story are in the fight and Bowser said the line it's showtime which also comes from Bowser's Inside Story.
King boo using a thwomp because infinite used extra gravity against Bowser's army which made the thwomp hit much harder than normal.
Bowser using a few of his moves from Smash Bros
I agree with most of these, except for Eggman being worried about Sage because I don’t think he was, but rather just confused and worried for himself as
1: He was confused of HOW it got turned into a block
and 2: He likely knew he didn’t really have anything big that could kill Bowser to save his own skin.
although Sage seems to be plotting a revenge plan to avenge her father. But hey that’s just a theory…A EGGMAN THEORY!

34:38 - I think Mario is a "plumber" because plumbers clear out sewer pipes. Mario goes into pipes and fights battles to the death with armies of monsters, cleaning them out on the regular.
He'd be considered a one-man army and a SERIOUS threat anywhere but the Mushroom Kingdom. There? He's just..."a plumber."
The most amazing part of the animation? It was made by one person *in a month*

@@gavo7911 no hes right, this was in development when they were still owned by rooster teeth, during this time the story boards were complete and was planned to he much bigger than the current animation. Regardless, when DB went indie they had to cut down on the animation due to budget but they still had the storyboard, so when moro got on he was able to get it done swiftly

I guess you can say that without the Olympic games to keep them both satisfied and occupied, Bowser and Eggman's friendship has fallen apart, Which of course leads Eggman to invade Bowser's to declare war to expand his empire but fails, which he was cracked and scrambled
Magic and Cartoon logic always wins. Specially when the writing is none existent in Mario games except for some of the RPGs.
I wonder how a rematch between Ganon and Bowser would play out since Ganon beat Bowser last time- they both had magic but Ganon was absolutely not cartoony in any way.

Nah, someone made a great comment about Omega. The main rule for the battle is that the armies can only consist of people who work for or like the leader.
So for Eggman, Omega would rather shit in their hands and CLAP than ever work again. They probably would help Bowser defeat him too.

They excluded characters like Omega and Mecha sonic because those people are notorious for BETRAYING eggman, metal back then was more like this so that’s why he ended up killing eggman in his last death battle 😂

A FELLOW BRUTAL LEGEND PLAYER!!! I see you a man of culture! I love that game. Play it so much that I lost count. And I will play it again. Play and beat Brutal Legend I think like 10 time. It an underrated game. Everyone should play it. It a love letter to Heavy Metal and Rock and Roll music. I hope we get another Brutal Legend game.
What are Sage and her brothers doing in the post-battle? signing their citizenship or a peace treaty?
Orbot and Cubot are signing up for the Koopa Army while Sage is plotting something, likely her revenge against Bowser.

This is an amazing fight the only problem I have is that King Boo's Crown is also intangible like him
Boos can be material by choice though.
On the contrary, King Boo's Crown is a physical object that can be picked up for a fairly big penny in Luigi's Mansion (Luigi literary picks it up in his hands after successfully capturing King Boo), his crown however is the source of his dark magics so being fast enough to knock it off before this spooky puffball's head could make himself and the crown intangible was the quick thinking solution to dismantle this immortal reality warping ghost. Essentially the crown was knocked off before King Boo realized what was going on.
