@@kotori87gaming89 Shes the goddess of Otaku, she hops around world to world helping isekaied heroes fix their holy weapons and stuff. but she didn't start there. she once was just a normal mom who faced a tragic end, unable to be there for their creative child. unable to let go of never being able to properly help, she was reincarnated as a hero herself, focusing on repair magic and healing. once she beat her world's demon lord and was granted any one wish, she wished to be able to help every kid that was ever in need of a repair mom. the pantheon of gods saw her purity and made her the patron saint of mending, and her dedicated work and care enabled her to transcend into a goddess. now heroes all over pray to her in their time of need.
(Then obviously there will be an episode where she's called back to her original world, a cosplayer is about the take the biggest stage in one of the largest cosplay championships and their costume is ruined and they can't fix it before taking the stage. ender the cosplay repair mom. its only after she's begun her work does she realize the person she is helping is her child. all grown up.)

I used to carry something similar on con days where I didn’t dress up (or could incorporate it). My friends used to call mine my “oh sh!t bag” because chances are if something happened to make you say it, I had a solution. Anything from cosplay/outfit malfunctions, touch ups, to gum/mints, usually some granola bars, to minor first aid, up to and including sterile suture kits (mainly left there from camping).

I’ve seen some cons have a cosplay ER which is fantastic but I always love seeing the individuals who are kind and generous enough to help out with their own skills and supplies. Cosplay repair parents (re-pairents?) are the backbones of any convention and dearly appreciated for their service to the attendees.

"I have two kids- actually, three..."
Did she... did she just casually forget about one of her kids? Like, mid-conversation she was just like, "Oh wait, I almost forgot Billy exists. I guess he's technically still my kid even if he's not on the Will anymore so I still gotta count him..."
I kid, of course. There's a number of possible reasons why she had to make that correction. Maybe she was only counting the two that cosplay but then realized that she worded it as how many children she had total rather than how many cosplay so she had to backpedal. Maybe the third kid was a recent adoption or stepchild and she wasn't used to counting them yet.
That being said, while I don't actually believe in it, the version of events where she just straight up forgot about the existence of one of her children is the funniest to me and so that's the version that I'm sticking with.

I was thinking the same. Maybe she was realizing they usually count the dog?
I mean, my wife and I usually refer tot he cats and dog as "kids".

WHERE WAS SHE WHEN I NEEDED HER! I was at a convention last year. Me and my friend match every time so that time they picked who we cosplayed. I was Velvet and they were Veneer from Trolls 3. It was our first time doing a cosplay contest…5 minutes before I went on stage with my friend my headpiece broke! I had no glue! No nothing to fix it! I asked a group of people if they had something but they didn’t! They had everything but glue or saftey pins! It was fixed before the contest but it was so scary that it broke right before! Since then I started packing hot glue, safety pins, a sewing kit, hair ties, hair spray, extra make up if I need it, duck tape, and my dreams TwT

As a fellow (rookie) cosplay repairman, this warms my heart big time. I can't do anything beyond local stuff at the moment, and I sometimes feel I'm not putting the same passion im repairing as the cosplayers here put into creating, but it feels awesome seeing people appreciate it.
    Best of luck out there!
