The main points that happen in this chapter include:
-Dill begs his mom to be able to stay in Maycomb for the summer and she lets him
-One afternoon several men are outside of Atticus's house including the sheriff
-The men are friends try to convince Atticus to not defend a black guy in court
-The Next day after church these same men try to convince Atticus to not defend Tom
-That Sunday Atticus is acting strange and goes out
-Jem is worried about him and Jem, Scout, and Dill sneak out to find out where Atticus is going
-They find Atticus outside the jail
-A few cars full of men surround Atticus
-The men want to kill Tom because he's black and they don't want him to get off in the trial
-Scout runs to Atticus and after talking the drunk crowd down they leave

5. The first gang is Atticus's friends trying to protect him from the mob that came the night of the jail, those guys wanted to kill Tom. It's different because before the whole town was helping now they're being violent
6. Scout brings them back to their senses by reminding them that they all had children too
7. Not sure what prometheus is. But he had him bring it to show what a light Atticus was to the world. Atticus was the light of hope for Tom
8. When people get into a mob setting you get the support of your peers to do bad things; it makes it easier
