What stretch of the Weber were you fishing? With all of the private land blocking access to the Weber it is hard to find any significant stretch with access that you can actually fish without running into private land. Any suggestions on where to go?
A stretch up by Coalville. There are several "walk-over" access points that landowners have that allow angler access. You can find them all along the frontage roads.
What are the current stream-access laws in Utah? I hear Utah is like Montana, that the stream (below the normal high water mark), belongs to the public. Can you confirm or correct? Thanks!!!!
Huge issue here in Utah. You can't fish rivers or streams that run through private property. You can however, float those waterways - you simply cannot touch the streambed. So you can fish while floating. However, the Division of Wildlife has been working with friendly land owners to provide public access points, which we used to shoot this episode.
Great video friend, God bless your weekend
Why do you guys set the hook sideways instead of straight up?
Thanks!

Thank you for the tip! It's going to be a warm one this weekend. See you on the river!
