  • The second half of our fantastic trip north to the highlands. The weather took a bit of a turn for the worse but we still managed to get out and enjoy the best of what the highlands has to offer with fantastic walks and stunning views. It's a shame we saw no dolphins or fairies.

Thank you for the shoutout. Finally back from our wet weekend with no signal. Clava Cairns is a lovely park up in the winter. Fort George is supposed to be finished as a base now LOL But I know what you mean about paying especially to the army. All I can say is the weather has not improved since you went home. Black Isle will sell a keg and rent the tap and gas if you ever need beer for a Party.

We'll take some comfort in the bad weather in Scotland as its been absolutely atrocious here most of the week with little let up in the forecast 😔😔

We went to fort George. No gunfire while we were there. No dolphins either! 😂 The weather was very similar for us too.

Love the sound of a bag pipe band, love Scotland and need to go back in the future, just planned our 3 week trip to Southern Ireland later this year

@andrew-karens-adventures That should be a good trip. We keep saying as it's a nice run from home up to Cairnryan and a short sailing that we should do that too. One for the future maybe. Hope you enjoy Ireland 🇮🇪 😍
