I’m in Georgia USA,, I love Scotland. I have been there many times. With this Covid virus, we haven’t been able to come over. I appreciate you so much showing us Scotland. It is so beautiful.
Thank you Kim for your photographic adventures of Scotland... I've always wanted to visit there to take pictures of various areas... And now , because of you and some of your European colleagues, I'll have some places to channel for my start. Thank you once again and continued success! Darrell
Great video We are visiting the Black Isle in just over 3 weeks so your video has really helped with our planning 😊 We've just discovered your channel so looking forward to following your adventures ❤🏴 Morgs Jo and Boo ❤
Hello Kim! Thank you for another great adventure! This time i tried following along via Google Earth, Cromarty looks amazing! Cant wait to see your next one!
Just discovered your channel and absolutely love your vibe! Moving to Dingwall from Fife at the end of the month for uni so looking for places to explore!
Thanks again for a very interesting vlog! Chanonry Point looks like a great place to spend some time with the dogs while looking for the dolphins. We often passed not far by Chromarty when driving between Inverness and the north-west. Looks like we missed some interesting stuff ...
Hi Kim just like Paul B my human companions watched your Vlog this morning with a cuppa and a bacon butty! I was taken to the Black isle last year for the first time in the spring and we enjoyed it so much we went back in the Autumn . I am looking forward to seeing the Fairy Glen next week I loved it there it is so so so so Nice!!!!!! Thank you Kim for your enthusiasm and sharing it with us all. Teddy ;D
Hi Kim... Thank you for taking the time to put this out there... I am curious as to what a " bacon butty " is. It sounds tasty, whatever it is! An educated guess tells me: perhaps a biscuit with an egg & bacon inside or perhaps an English muffin with bacon, egg & cheese? Perhaps a side of hash browns with diced onions & peppers with a black coffee to top it off... Clootie Well, what a strange place... If ever I make it over, perhaps I will dip my feet in it for a spell... :-) Once again, very much enjoyed... Bill Farr
We've been to Inverness a few times, but never visited the black isle.the beach looks lovely..will go if I'm up in the area for sure now.would like to ask you,how waterproof is the tog 24? My wife is thinking of buying one!
Hi Kim, I watched your vlog with a cup of tea and a bacon butty this morning and enjoyed it tremendously (your vlog that is!) I can't really add any more than I've already said in the past, except thank you once again and I'm looking forward to your next one Until next time, stay safe..👍😊📷
Wonderful trip through the Black Isle, I followed using Google maps so you are educating me on the geography of Scotland. I had only ever heard of Cromarty before in terms of the Met office there - so thank you.
Another great vlog Kim, having just returned from Skye, I feel the need to explore more of the highlands, later in the year. Inspired by your journies.
What a fascinating travelogue! I had to stop halfway through to look up more about Hugh Miller, who I'd never heard of before, so it was quite educational as well. (I'm still trying to figure out what that automobile air freshener tied to the trees near the well was all about - seeking healing for an ailing car, perhaps?) Anyway, looking forward to your Faerie Glen video!
An unexpected Breakfast treat another Volog from Kim.It is interesting how ancient prechristian practices our the same on both sides of the Irish sea. Here in Ireland as well we have Holy Wells which are attributed to Saints or Ancient Celtic Pagan Gods that have healing powers and pieces of clothing our dipped in the water then tied to nearby branches. cant wait for the next vlog
Ahh Kim, that voice, you poor thing I hope you're feeling better! I'm moving to Scotland for a new job next month and these videos are getting me so excited to get out and explore when I'm there! Might even have a go at recording some adventures
I have been to Chanonry Point a few times but never been lucky enough to see the Dolphins. Cromarty village looks nice. Clootie Well; I'm afraid I am more likely to track down a Clootie Dumpling.
Kim, another great video. I have a suggestion. When panning across a scene like the graveyard, you should pause the camera motion for a few seconds. It is easier for us to see the scene when it is static as opposed to constant motion. I had to pause the video several times to get a better look at the graveyard. So if you pan and pause, I think it would add to your already great cracking videos!
Your friend must be very patient waiting for you to complete your B roll. My friends and family think that anything over 30 seconds to take a photograph or video is excessive 🙄
Hi Kim, I am really enjoying the series but I have one comment though. Your panning shots seem to be a bit hasty and uncertain at times. I don't know if it was you or your friend filming though. One of the things you can do to improve is before you press "record" to run your shot from beginning to end. This way you will know where to start and where to finish exactly. As for the speed it is not easy to maintain a perfect speed throughout especially when shooting handheld so this is where gimbals come to play. I know they are pricey but you will see great benefits with them. Otherwise you can use your tripod with a fluid video head to get this smooth panning action. Please excuse my remarks but I am seeing great content and I am sure you can make it even better.
In this video it was my friend doing most of the pans and it was her first ever attempt. I would love a gimbal but can't afford the purchase just now - one day I hope!
So when are you going to offer some travel/photography tours? Am thinking a 1 day adventure is a good place to start. Meet at the location with cameras (and tripods in tow). [If Thomas Heaton and Simon Baxter can pull these things off, then so can you!]
Hi Kim Nice video, I'm enjoying these road trip videos :) Looks to me that you need to clean the sensor. I guess that’s what you get with the lovely Scottish weather… Look and the top right corner, there a spot just before the clouds and two other in the corner. You can see it in the blue sky at 2m11s: ruclips.net/video/TGDrlQHeXZQ/видео.htmlm11s
Michel van der Klooster As I've said in a recent vlog - photography will still be a big part of my channel (the next 2 vlogs are photography ones). If you don't enjoy the explore Scotland ones that's fine. The video titles will inform the viewer whether there is photography in it. Thanks for your comment 😊
Yeah ok, I watched your video explaining the format change you've moved to. But basically no camera, no subscription from me. Just wandering around sight seeing isn't that much of a drawcard.
Great video, love the Black Isle as much as you do...stayed in Avoch for summer hols in early 60's.....thankfully back recently!
Another interesting vlog. Yet more additions to my bucket list.

I visited Chanonry Point last year. Amazing place, but very windy!
Never heard of Clootie Well before, so thanks for sharing :)
Another wonderful video. Seeing the beautiful Scotland is an adventure. Thank you for for another inspiring video.
I love listening to your story telling of the areas you travel to. Great job - and history - TFS
Hi Kim, Another great video. Thank you for taking us along with you. Stay safe and I hope you get better soon!
Great video Kim, never been to the Black Isle but will visit in the future thanks xx

A bacon butty is a bacon roll - so just bacon in a bread roll (not as exciting as it sounds - haha). Thank you!

Paul Burgess Thank you once again Paul - appreciate it as always. 😊

Another fascinating vlog Kim :) Great to see all these interesting places. So very different , wonderful stuff :)
Thanks for this! Wondering which Clootie Well you visited ... Munlochy or the one at Culloden?
Munlochy 😊
Love the new format Kim, your should a good story teller.
Another great vlog Kim, having just returned from Skye, I feel the need to explore more of the highlands, later in the year. Inspired by your journies.
Thank you and I hope you manage to explore more of the highlands later in the year. You won't regret it!
Great video Kim, spent a weekend in Cromarty with a photographic group some years ago and it was amazing and this brought back some happy memories
Hey Kim, another great video and beautiful area, bummer for your voice. Take it easy.
The Clootie well must have worked your voice sounded a lot better when you were there 😊

Kim, thank you for your video as always. This video reminds me of the TinTin story, The Black Island :-)

Much enjoyed pretty lady, thumbs up...
Did you see the rainbow?
So are you going back with your camera at some point?
I'm sure I will do

Probably should let your viewers know that I don't walk that way normally, a high intensity work out ruined my thighs :P haha
noted
Haha love it! Well now they know Quine .
you need your camera some nice shots ....
If'n I were to paint a painting of you sitting on the bench - word you say AI had stolen your cinematography - as BBC Michael Forbes lays claim?
Your too young to know about the Morecambe & Wise kick
Nicely done, but your channel is turning into a chic flix.
I miss the Photography. Don't like the new vlogs.. Greetz from Holland. Hope to go back on photography!
