Fun facts : Mochi is a Japanese rice cake made out of Glutinous rice and sometimes other Ingredients like Water,Sugar and Cornstarch. Mochi is a traditional food fkr the Japanese New year, and is commonly sold and eaten during that time.
Mochi are small,sweet Japanese cakes. They are really yummy and super easy to make. (Strawberry mochi is highly recommended from me.) ❤
Mochi recipe :
Ingredients: (mainly)
*Glutinous rice flour
*Water
*Sugar
*Cornstarch
Instructions :
1.Mix the Mochiko and 3/4 water In a glass. Mix well,Add some more water if it is dry.(1𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲)
2.Steam the mochiko dough in a steamer for 20 minutes. 👌
3. Meanwhile,Put 3/4 Cup of water and Sugar in a medium pot. Cook until the Sugar dissolves to make sugar syrup.
4.Transfer the steamed mochi into a pot and cook at medium low to low the heat, adding and mixing in the sugar syrup. Cook until the
syrup is completely incorporated, mixing constantly, and the mochi becomes sticky. Take time and be careful not to burn it. 😁
5. Take the hot Mochi out from the pot onto a sheet pan liberally dusted cornstarch. Shape and cut as you like.
6. Finally try it. 👌 If you made it following the correct information, you won't be dissapointed. 🥰 Hope It's delicious :)

I tried mochi for the first time about 3 days ago,I got the plain red bean paste mochi,it was only $1.19 at the foreign supermarket place and it was boxed,with six cute little mochi in there,I was super satisfied with presentation.I took the first bite and I wasn't quite sure how I felt about it,and I'm still not quite sure because it had a weird taste in my mouth but it was good at the same time,maybe it was because it was boxed and not fresh from some random store or maybe red bean just isn't my flavor and I need to try another one,but I wasn't disappointed.At least now I can say that I tasted mochi once in my lifetime.
