Oh thanks for your response. If anything, your videos are helping to popularize his name all around the world. I'm thankful to you for posting these videos, because this Schubert impromptu is unfortunately rarely played by Pianists today.
Enrico Pace plays a highly sensitive Schubert 3 Piano Pieces. Everything this pianist plays is completely devoted to the music itself, there is no show off, no personal display, no cleverness, only lyricism, a wonderful and fairytale like clear sound (unlike the most of his colleagues today) and above all a very (19th century) stylish and natural interpreataion of these pieces, as if Schubert wrote them down, just a minute ago...
this was a television broadcast in holland. Pace is famous in Holland because he won the Liszt competition here in 1989. but he is not well known in other countries as far as I can tell.
These clips were all amazing! Thank you very much for sharing, as Schubert is my favorite composer. These clips look like they are from a DVD, if so, could you please tell me the name of the DVD because I'm interested in purchasing it.
oooooooooddio questa mi mancava!pensavo fosse un lisztiano strabiliante invece suona anche schubert divinamente!!grandissimo!
