Be very observant of your ship type and how many gun ports you see, for instance if you use zamzima 3 on the fire ship, it uses 7 guns on the side or 4 ports in front of, certian guns use certain amounts of weapons for each wepon type on sides and fronts based on that paticular ship, for instance ballistic III in the brig you will use 8 guns per side , how ever if you were to use fire bombard II on the side for brig it will only utilize 4 gun ports., but if use in front of the brig it’s 4 gun ports for the ballistic III , but only two ports if used in the back, each ship has a minimum max gun port and certian wepons will grant those min max ports .allowing for builds you wouldn’t think viable but because they use so many ports they become seriously over POWERD the game is new so try every wepon on every ship on every side until you figure out what causes the most destructive power
@@xxeroxxasxx_653 zamazama III on samba grants 7 ports on side 4 in front , other weapons on the samba are 4 cannons you gotta look at the ships ports they will fill up when ur using the right guns in the right sides on the ships, I only tried the brig ship it’s what I main , however I seen with my one eyes the gun ports on the samba, and was told there is a ship that has two row s top and bottom on a side of the ship, how ever I just had a brand new baby girl, and I’m on night shift right now so mom can sleep so I’m a little delirious and can’t think which ship it was ,mit might have even been the samba
I personaly still use the Fire bombards 3 on the side. Same in the Front as in the vid and scerlocks Long Nines in the back. Most of the time i fight brigs and it is really hard to ram in Open seas due to the space. For fleeing the long nines bc if you Hit the Sail 4 Times it will Break. So just to get a nugde. Also you can swing from left to Right to get all shots in no matter how far you are away. I also use the leopold 3. for the furniture i have the Same. For Minor furniture i have enhanced damage for the front bombards, the Station where i Heal 1% of severe damage while out of combat( always helpfull and the GOAT furniture). The la Potenz scematics and i can’t remember the 5th. For any questions i can Check. The black Prince for the hull. I rock the enhanced repair kit 1 bc I did the math like many before me and it is the best go to for time and repair amount. I feel like the speed and manoverability of the brig is the most important thing for this ship. That’s why I don’t give it up by putting in Demi cannons. I use them in the snow tho. The fire bombard III combine damage range and reload speed perfectly and not allowing the enemy to build up brace. That’s why you never encounter someone bracing against it bc they will instantly lose it. I win almost every 1v1 and pve is in the background
I made a brig build solely around flooding, I don't reccomend it for pve but for pvp it is incredible as long as you can survive long enough. I run twin winch on the front (for ripping sales/hitting weakpoints) leopald 3 (for the insane damage and instant flooding), carronades on the sides (for adding severe damage that can't be repaired in combat) and finally I have flooding demi cannon on the back although I'm thinking of changing it to a zamzam 3 to add on more crew damage and healing potential with the correct furniture or just using skurlock long nines to break sails while being chased. In pvp you only need to ram/mortar followed by 2 rounds of carronades and whatever weapon you have on the back for people to start running because of the amount of severe damage. (Sorry this is a bit long)
just a heads up when the ouroboros armor comes into the game any build for pvp that relies on severe dmg will most likely be useless. (and i believe they are releasing the monster that drops monstrous scales soon)
Have an op barque set up already for boss fights. It's great. Sambuk beats barque easy no matter the set up. Barque isn't a great pvp ship it doesn't have enough healing to deal with all the incoming damage that most ship builds can do. Barque is best for le peste and building up hostility for the plague prince
I've been using Carronades for port and starboard weapons. I was using using Scurlock's Long Nines for the bow but I'm gonna try out the Twin-winch Ballista for that 600% damage and the bonus weakpoint damage. Still team Termites 3, rockets can be hard to hit but they damage to ships and structures, Everything else I have the same
I just went straight DPS brig with scurlock Long John's on the side Dardanelles on the back Leopold3 twin winch on the front furniture megaphone front power kegs starboard powder keg port powder keg long gun grinder pretty simple build I think
I am no where near your level of difficulty but I've been really won over by the Flooding Demi's. I paired that with the furniture that speeds up on consistent hits and it can get pretty ridiculous. My only problem is running out of ammo
For PvP the cannons you get from lvl 30 season are overpowered for PvP…..it makes it to where they can’t heal since it gives that red bar stopping from healing ifs crazy….
I have the feeling he uses the meta way of farming po8's so he only needs one set amount of silver to keep that manufactory going so all excess silver will mostly just be saved up anyway. To me personally I farm silver from hostile takeovers, easy plunders or medium fortresses like Fort Du Lys or, and I usally do this, I head to Dutchman's Camp all the way in the south east corner and farm high tier commodities from that tradeway or attack rogues with blue treasure maps which net you usally 4k at least

The fastest way to get sovereigns is getting 8s. Every 8 u get put back into upgrades and leveling up your manufacturers. Focus on manufacturers with the most trade routes before upgrading ones with fewer routes. After maybe a dozen or so pirate rounds of collecting 8s, I'll be sitting nice and pretty, I've played a week, already collected over 100k 8s and easily over 3k sovereigns. More than enough to deck out your ship with the best weapons and armor in the game. Red isle rounds to hit every manufacturer takes maybe 35 min. The higher u upgrade them, the less often u have to do rounds, and the more 8s u get. I fell asleep last night, woke up this morning, funded, my manufacturers went to work, came back, and everything was finally full and ready to collect. Pulled in nearly over 10 k just from that and that's just rom red isle and most of my manufacturers being lvl 6 and 4 or 5 being level 8. When africa is thrown in the mix, u hitting hello numbers. U will be rewarded if u put in the work, just be prepared to grind a few days to get everything set up and rolling first.

@kylepalmer3625 what's your exact loadout? Cannons, furniture, all cause a friend and I have been dealing with an issue for all around ship battle being ship to ship (pvp or pve) and ship to structures. So a loadout would be greatly appreciated.
I do think its bullshit how not all medium ships has 5 furniture slots! What 3 of them have 5 while the other two only has 4 sorry but a fucking brigantine doesnt need 5! Theres literally nothing special about a brigantine all you need is level requirements and money, resources.
