    Wow I’m so impressed you came out with this video as a manufacturer. I’ve bought a boat, rv, and convertible in the last couple years and I’ve watched a ton of review/tour videos in the purchasing process. I’ve never seen a manufacturer post a video like this criticizing themselves and asking for suggestions.
    And you’re replying to all the comments in depth! Seriously impressed.
    I’ve been regretting going with a class A since I’ve bought it. Having trucking experience, I wish I went a super C. I’ve been interested in the Europa since I heard Brian on the RV Travel podcast first preview it. This floorplan looks even better.
    I’ve no real suggestions to change from a manufacturing standpoint. Seems like lithium batteries is the new thing. Reasons why you’re sticking with AGM?
    Thanks again for this tour. This is the top of the list for next coach.

      Thank you so much for the feedback.
      I will say, after we shot raw footage, I was having doubts about my idea to use that format. "No one does this...am I making a mistake pointing out the flaws?". After I watched it back, I felt much great about it. We are not perfect, but our tagline is "Different By Design" and why shouldn't that apply to our videos as well? So again, thanks for commenting, it just encourages us to keep being transparent.
      As for lithium vs. AGM. The Europa was supposed to hit a price point (pre-covid of course) so we wanted to keep the options to a minimum and build it one way, so it would not be affected by supply disruptions. We have held pretty firm to that so far.
      We do offer lithium options on all our other models and have even made lithium standard where we really needed to shave some pounds. We also make it very easy to upgrade in the future by having an open spot for an extra battery, or by using components that have a lithium setting should you change in the future.

    I'd love to see the batteries on a slide out tray and also see an "ridge", net or wall between the electrical bay and the upper pass-through. I'd be concerned that something sliding along there would damage the upper electrical connections. Overall I really like the shorter length, large window by the dinette, and overall layout. The TV location on the arm is a perfect compromise for the smaller coach and preserving good sight lines to the couch. The large bath for a coach of this size makes it extremely appealing for a mid/longer term couples coach.

    Much better floorpan than I thought when I saw the drawing of it. 1. For the bunk I would also consider the end storage like the forester class c's use. They are very handy and I like the outlet and USB port in it. 2. Kitchen if you are doing a rectangular sink therein top you have in your video could be recessed to counter height around the edge instead of just sitting on top. 3. Bathroom I completely agree with the Arcadia shower door. Love it. Just please never, ever, use the Nautilis one. Had that in our Forester and traded it out for the Arcadia. 4. I agree about the cabinet going to the wall. That gap is a massive waste of space. 5. Maybe a drawer if possible.
    1. Agree with the rollers for the power cord and I think the water filter would be better served on the sit eof the compartment instead of right in the middle of everything. 2. Agree about the strut on the door as well. 3. In the battery bay i would like to see the MORryd pull out batter tray for easier access when changing or upgrading the batteries.
    Only other considerations I can think of. 1. A place for a washer and dryer. 2. One other huge one that nobody does but with Cell Boosters, Starlink, etc. is a roof access point to bring cables into the coach from the roof. I would have it enter the cabinet above the door with the AV equipment. 3. Lastly, I am hoping the coach is solar ready and pre-wired for it. 4. Same for on-board surge protection.
    Have you considered offering an option for an l-shaped couch with a sideways dinette table. It would not be for everyone but it typically does give more floor room.
    We enjoy our Forester class c but this is our net step. Figure in a couple of years. I know Freightliner has a new cockpit interior coming so i figure 2 to 3 years and you'll have it as well. Right about the time I am ready to order.

I am putting my Imagineering hat on and a love the single bowl kitchen sink and the radius bar shower better than glass. I would LOVE to see a two 8D lithium battery option, but then not everyone Camp Hosts or snowbirds in the desert like us with 1350-watts of solar.

    Yo Brian! This is the 'tude that started pushing you toward a short M2 back in 2017 suggesting you resurrect the older 30ft Dynaquests. You know, the guy that became your most vocal critic that eventually pissed you off and got me booted off the forum. I love our 3 slideout 32ft Renegade but I got to hand it to you, you finally built a coach that I could have purchased 2-3 years ago. The 32KD (34 footer) is a great start. Many of the excellent suggestions by others here are worth considering as improvements before final production. I totally agree with a deeper slideout for the trifold and 3rd slideout option for the dinette. The additional depth definately works in our Renegade providing more open space. The pass thru bays are great but did you run all the plumbing in an insulated heat ducted floor as well? Well thought out interior storage. Queen bed would make it easier to get in and out of bed. TV & electronics is in a smart location with swivel mount. Do not like the Cummins B, should be an ISL. Large onboard propane tank for outdoor grill and RV fridge. Many campgrounds out West do not allow open fires due to drought conditions. Induction cooktop with dedicated vent to outside option? Nice galley and roomy bathroom. Shower curtain would be better with Stromberg Carlson Extend-A-Shower curtain rod. GREAT JOB!

    1. Thank you for putting the table camp side! 2. For the shower door either the radius plastic curtain or the squeegee type door. No glass! 3. For the kitchen sink it looks a little too close to the cook top and you can include the sink cut outs cuz someone out there will want them but personally I use those metal roll up draining tops in our home. Should work wonderfully in an RV. 4. It would be better to fill out that wall space with the medicine cabinet…can’t afford to waste an inch. 5. Yay for the lighter colors!! TY 6. I don’t think the little windows next to the bed work as well as a big window above the headboard but not a deal breaker and you have a ton of windows in that bedroom. 7. We boondock so I hope you have solid solar set up. 8. For the passenger side rear storage where you suggested a screen to stop mice, you will need something pretty heavy gauge. Those suckers chew threw everything! Nice job Dynamax team and thank you Brian for the tour.

    Love the new floor plan with the opposing seating. The big window is great. I wish the dinette was in a slide so the living area would be roomier, especially since the sofa side slide doesn’t go out very far. It looks like it’ll be tight with the recliners in lieu of the sofa. Camp side slides aren’t an issue for me, and if it is for someone, they could leave it in.

    Loved this video, thanks Brian! Love the 32KD too! Yes to Arcadia vs shower doors. We have the 2021 28SS and took off our shower doors and replaced it with a shower curtain. I hate cleaning the shower door tracks!!! Also, I love the rolly thing over the sinks. So much better than the hard surfaced sink covers which ALWAYS get in my way and are difficult to store. I am going to try and buy one to replace our hard covers. Love the bathroom in the KD! Looks perfect and so much storage. The TV setup is maybe iffy? Not sure about that yet. Didn't see the slide shut in the bedroom to see how you can or cannot access drawers/wardrobe which slide shut. Would love an Explorer package on it?? Otherwise we love the Europa (but we still love our 28SS). Thanks.

  • @mamabar6811
    @mamabar6811 2 года назад +1

    What a beautiful unit! Thank you for making lighter interior colors as an option! I’m so over brown in the RV industry. :) Likes:
    1) Tv placement. As opposed to a tv over the bunk or a televator that would shrink the dinette and just be another electronic component that could break.
    2) the king bed that can be used while driving! That is a huge perk as I often have to lay with my baby to get him to nap.
    3) motion lights inside the wardrobe.
    4) kitchen cabinet space and a convection microwave in lieu of an oven
    5) no carpet under the dinette
    6) love the roller over the sink instead of sink covers
    Things I would suggest for improvement :
    1) add a slide on the dinette so you have opposing slides and a huge living room. When the sofa bed is out, it looks like it would be tough to walk thru.
    2) Induction cooktop
    3) single basin sink
    4) when someone is ordering a unit, give them the option to have a radius shower bar in lieu of the glass. I personally can’t stand having to clean the shower doors every time we camp. It’s a lot of work, especially when the water is hard.
    5) consider relocating the thermoster where no vents would be blowing on it. But that’s not a deal breaker.
    I agree with all your demerits.
    Other than that, looks great! What is the CCC and how big is the water tank? Thank you!

    • @DynamaxRVs
      @DynamaxRVs  2 года назад +5

      1) The issue with adding a slide is that it would take up more room (for slide fascia and mechanicals) making the coach 12-18" longer. It reduces the ceiling height in the area so the window on the camp side would be much smaller (defeating the purpose of a nice view on camp side). Also, it would extend into the camping area, reducing the under-awning space. Lastly it would add cost and complexity, both of which we are trying to minimize for the Europa.
      2. Looking at that, but FAR more people know how and what to cook with gas. While induction is gaining in popularity, it is not yet the most popular choice
      3. already done
      4. We're trying to reduce options, to minimize issues on the supply side as well as make things simpler for the line. This is also something that can be easily changed with minimal cost.
      5. There is not a spot on the coach that you can't turn a vent to hit it. Those vents turn 360 degrees. It was far easier to turn the vent.

    Brian: Thank you for the tour. You have a wonderful way of presenting information. Love the coach! A couple of questions: 1) What is the distance in inches between the bunk bed and the ceiling? 2) What is the size of the bed if the booth dinette is made into a bed? 3) What size bed does the sofa make? 4) Can you fully open the refrigerator (more than 90 degrees- i.e., full swing open) with the slide in, and if not, what degree can you open the refrigerator? 5) Is the interior height of the coach 84 inches? 6) What is the outside storage in cubic feet? Would love this coach even more if it had an all-electric option and if you could fully fill the fuel tank from one side or the other.

    • @DynamaxRVs
      @DynamaxRVs  2 года назад +1

      1. top of bed to ceiling is about 21".
      2. Booth Dinette would end up being about 42"x68"
      3. Sofa is Tri-fold, it was pretty close to 54"x72" bed
      4. The fridge will not open fully when the slide is in. While I don't know "degree", I could reach in and grab a drink or a snack. I don't think you are pulling a full size watermelon out.
      5. yes
      6. I don't have the cubic feet of storage, but it seemed to be more than the 31SS.
      7. We would potentially look at this as an all -electric. The primary issue is the furnace. LP is the most cost effective way to heat the coach. Once you go all electric, you are looking at a pretty major price jump for something that is not used all that often.
      8. Frankly I have had a single fill and a double fill and I prefer the double sided fill 1,000 times more. You pull into a commercial truck stop, and you get HIGH FLOW fuel pumps on both sides. I can fill up in 2-3 minutes. Filling 100 gallons with a single non-commercial pump? Might as well bring a book.
      PS. We're gonna have to work on our use of the term "A couple of questions ;) "

      The only issue with the televator behind the Dinette is it would reduce the size of the dinette by about 8-10". So what currently seats (4), would likely be a roomy dinette for two.

    Beautiful RV. As close to perfect as an RV can get for our family (me, wife, 12yo daughter and dog). Having everything accessible when the slides are in is a must. Floorplan and size are spot on.
    My thoughts:
    -I'm not a huge fan of the heating vents in the floor. The hair from the two ladies will find a way into them. Good thing the dog doesn't shed.
    -Don't mind the TV where it's at. It's useable and out of the way. I've seen televators that eat up the dinette space. Much prefer it out of the way.
    -I'm 6'3 220#. The glass showers doors would be replaced. I need all the room I can get.
    -Really like the ceiling.
    -A usb charger (might be there but didn't see it) and some storage in the bunk would be great.
    -Bigger nightstands are a must. My wife would not be happy with that little of room. Book / Tablet, water, glasses, and phone all need to be with in reach for her.
    -Kitchen sink with a combination solid cover on one side and roll away on the other is a nice compromise.
    -As a truck driver I'm not a fan of the side cameras that far back. I'd prefer them on the truck fenders. If they weren't there I'd add a fender mirror. Just doesn't cover the blind spot down below the passenger door well enough. Low sports cars and motorcycles can hide out right there.
    ***Great video but almost couldn't finish watching it because of the camera constantly going out of focus. Not sure why that was happening.

    • @DynamaxRVs
      @DynamaxRVs  Год назад

      1. Ducts in the floor are sometimes necessary based on the layout. On the bright side, they come up easily and a vacuum works wonders (as I found out on my trip). We are looking at alternative locations for one of them thought.
      2. There were at least (8) USB chargers available, including the bunk.
      3. You don't get bigger night stands without more room. What we have seen some people do, is put a Queen bed in place of the King and that of course will get you bigger nightstands.
      4. I am not sure why the focus kept going either. That was our normal videographer...might have been a new camera though.

    Love the paint job and the floorplan. In floor vents for the heat is way outdated and collects dust. Haven't seen those since the early 2000's. I was eyeing the 31ss and noticed the same in the bedroom. If you can consider making the cab over bunk open space in the center and sleepers face north south (basically seperate twin beds that would allow older kids to have their own space (and nothing in the market with that kind of set up yet). My 2 cents if I was designing a smaller coach for a family of 4.

    • @DynamaxRVs
      @DynamaxRVs  Год назад

      The problem with the bed idea is the length...you would have a 50" long twin bed. Forest River has done what you are talking about in their Class C motorhomes, but the nose has to be extended 12", then extended inside a few inches, just to get to 72" in length. That is not possible with a one piece fiberglass front cap unless you re-tool the entire thing, or forego the fiberglass cap.

  • @jasonperkins9905
    @jasonperkins9905 Год назад

    The versatility to have a Motorhome where we don't have to extend the slides to use all the features, is a must. How many times do you pull over at a Truck Stop / Gas Station, Super Center, Quick Sleeping Spot? Therefore not having to extend the slide for a bed is ideal. And when you have passengers, the fridge is often accessed while driving. If the swap of a cabinet / fridge does not yield the door opening space with that current model fridge, perhaps a side x side fridge with slider freezer would allow full access when the slides are closed (assuming you are standing in the bathroom when opening the doors) or both? You already have those model fridges in your other lines of Motorhomes, so they are stock!
    Its very alluring having a MH under 35' with a shorter wheelbase to enter many of the National / State Parks, drive in traffic, navigate Parking Lots, etc. We are excited to see how our family can grow into the Dynamax different models. Looking forward to seeing the evolution of this specific model.
    - Vote to have an Explorer package / Paint job upgrade option!
    - Vote to Keep current bathroom layout, but modify at least a 36x32 Shower (and steal space from the toilet and sink area). Can you not steal the shower design from the DX3 37RB and modify to a single sink? seems like a similar layout.
    - Vote to move a floor vent from the main walking area (next to bathroom). Either to kickplate or an area where bare feet don't step on it.
    - Vote to enclose the battery / cutoff compartment.
    Personally, we like the TV Placement. Accessible from Drivers Seat, Sofa, Dinette, and even loft. Brain did a great job recommending all the other little things to tweak :-)

      1. The only side by side fridge we have is 23 cu ft. So, even though we have it already, it would not fit. (unless you mean a 12cu ft RV fridge, then yes, that one will have the space to open easily.
      2. No pan currently exists for a 36x32 shower. So that for sure won't happen soon.
      3. Floor vent has already been moved on the production models. (Though I having walked in bare feet, it was never an issue...after two trips now.)
      4. Closing off the battery area would require tooling a new box, we'll have to see.

And last thing is just a suggestion. Also wondering if there are AC outlets very close to the nightstand base to power a CPAP machine. Great walk through video, aside from the focus issue. Very informative and honest. A couple comments probably for engineering
    1 why not enclose with a vent the battery compartment to prevent water/ dirt from getting in?
    2 move the generator exhaust back a little more so a stack can be used when needed ?
    3 why not put the wardrobe on a slide to add more room to the bedroom?
    4 why is the sofa on a raised slide-out instead of it being floor level?
    5 as an option instead of the over cab bunk offer an entertainment center and have the TV there ?
    5 I prefer the solid sink covers but also provide the over sink drain cover as seen here ? I both would be great

    • @DynamaxRVs
      @DynamaxRVs  Год назад

      1. We can certainly look at that. So far it has not been an issue as the location is not in a major splash zone. As lithium takes off, we don't even need vents, so that makes it even better.
      2. We try to keep the exhaust runs as short as possible so we are not interfering with other things. Also, we just never get the request. Seems far more common in theory, than practical use.
      3. We have a washer/dryer prep in the wardrobe. Having spent a week in this coach, I had plenty of room at the foot of the bed. The bed is a very deep slide. Also, to turn something into a slide, you need to make it about 18" narrower, or the coach 18" longer to get the slide equipment and fascia in place. So while you gain more room "width wise" you lose room length wise.
      4. It is a sofa/kitchen slide, so there is a plumbing chase below. You can't really do a flush floor kitchens slide.
      5. We already have that.
      6. We will probably do the solid as we do today and customers can add the slotted as they see fit. We try to reduce the number of items we ship loose as they have a tendency to grow legs and walk off.

    I like this Floorplan but disagree with you on the TV location. I think it should be directly across from the couch, a televator would be perfect. Opposing slides in the living area are also ideal.

    • @DynamaxRVs
      @DynamaxRVs  11 месяцев назад +1

      We thought about a televator, but that would shrink the dinette by 10". So a 4 person dinette becomes a 2 person dinette. To get opposing slides, the coach needs to get at least a foot longer. Our goal was to keep it short (per customer request). Plus, the whole point is to get out and see the world in person, not through a 40" screen.
      We might offer up another version of this in the future, but as of now it has been very popular for those that understand its purpose. A larger version with all of those things at a higher price is certainly possible.

YOURS are in the middle and everything falls in crud from shoes, dogs paws and such. Not easy to clean and also the most efficient travel pathway mice take inside an RV. Not to mention walking over one in middle of night isnt a pleasant experience. Its actually the cheapest way to run the heat for an RV, why its standard on cheap travel trailers, and why you do it in every line except XL and D3. Shame as this reason alone is why I wont purchase this or the 31SS.

    • @DynamaxRVs
      @DynamaxRVs  Год назад

      For one, this was a proto-type and the floor registers have been moved closer to the wall.
      As for XL-DX3, they are a completely different heating system. It uses the "Aquahot" radiant heat. So it can't be ducted in the floor, it has a "Heat Exchanger" at every outlet that has to be mounted above the floor and does take up space under the cabinets. "Boiler Fluid" lines are run to each exchanger. It is apples vs oranges.
      If you want shorter, with no floor registers, the 32KD floor plan will be coming out in the DX3 and XL this year.

I have seen 200k Class A gas with it routed through cabinets so just say you’re using the cheapest method… You used cabinetry above but yet thats where the XL and D3 are routed and yes Aquahot but no reason not to duct other units same way through cabinets… This Europa is a 300k coach so you give it a 15k TT heating system of floor vents. You even show where mice can get in in the open lines… I have owned TT, Class B and currently a Class A. Was thinking of your brand because you had a smaller Super C… Literally only reason I wont do the Europa (your dealer is begging me trying to do asinine things to cover floor registers sure lets choke the heat) for me to buy… Sorry you asked for input but for a 300k coach leaving cheap floor vents in middle that collects dirt, sand and cant be easily swept due to crap going into them is not what I will pay that much for…
      Also I realize the video was prototype and a little older. Was hoping you to say that maybe you would consider or had option of different. I work in hospital environment and quite frankly think where your shoes have travelled in a given day.. anything down that vent cant be easily accessed or cleaned..

    • @DynamaxRVs
      @DynamaxRVs  Год назад

      If you walked the floor plan you will see that we do route through the cabinets where we can and in some areas it is not practical for even heating where slide are etc. The entire system is not ducted through the floor, only one or two where it was necessitated by design.
      As I mentioned. The 32KD will be available in the DX3 so you don't have to make any accommodations, just get what you want (no floor registers) in a short length. Problem solved.
      Trust me, I see every bill of material. We do not save any money putting a register in the floor. If you'd like to order one with a "custom request" and no floor registers, you can do that as well. Happy to help you with that.
