LightCastle Partners recently hosted a lively dialogue on the future of the apparel industry, in collaboration with The Policy Exchange of Bangladesh! The event brought together industry leaders, policymakers, development partners, and experts who shared their perspectives on circularity, decarbonization, competitiveness, and other global dynamics and challenges that the apparel industry will have to overcome in the next decade.
The event involved the participation of distinguished guests such as Md Ariful Hoque, Director General of BIDA, Vidiya Amrit Khan, Director at BGMEA, Fazlee Shamim Ehsan, Vice President of BKMEA, Dr. Zaki Uz Zaman, Country Representative in Bangladesh for UNIDO, and Abdullah Hil Rakib, Managing Director, Team Group.
This was the inaugural dialogue for Bunon 2030 - an initiative dedicated to empowering women garment workers in Bangladesh to face the emerging challenges - but there will be many more to come.
