One of my favorite things is to customize shortcuts in Revit. Goes against what you said in the begining of the video but lots of people work on the same computer over and over. I use these all the time and primarity focus on having shortcuts i can reach with my left hand so i can keep my right hand on the mouse. Basic adjustments are: AA - Align comand (remove previous shortcut assignment) DD- Detail Line E - Delete (E then press spacebar and it will delete something similiar to CAD) DE - Dimension (remove previous shortcut assignment) those are the main four I customize and find it very helpful. Hope it helps someone.

Thank you for the helpful videos, no matter how simple, i learn something from them. I highly recommend to use: HH temporary hide object HI temporary isolate object HR reset temporary adjustments. (You mention them in video but not on list. Once accompanied they are really addictive). EH, RH and EU also controls visibility (not temporarily) EL to put elevation mark on floor surface. It works to check level, even on 3D Keep pressing the Shift key to enable/disable ortho, when in command Shift + tab to reverse back from tab key cycling. So you don't need to go through all that tedious tabing all the way again. Pressing Ctrl key enables/disables copying in commands like mirror, rotate, even copy or move The first letter and space also works for most commands. Just keep an eye on lower left screen. I recommend to add shortcuts E for extend EE for multiple extend and J for join.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you... And a zillion more for making this video. P.s- please don't be creep-ed out; your accent is soooo appealing that I can here you talk about revit all day. Your videos are my go to place for learning revit and you always have a simple way of doing it than I would have imagined.
I watched the video specially for how to use shortcut command for orbit. So, you explained everything but orbit)) Even I can't found it on the pdf file. Even so, I subscribed channel and liked video
Dude, you see the import/export buttons for the commands? You can export and load them anywhere you go. You can restore defaults too. Import, do your work; set default, leave work.
hi there, i am new to revit and i had to download a local folder from a collaborate mode revit folder and i am unable to use the sfift + V short cut to see the 3D view
