Which Prime Deity do you want to see more of in Critical Role? Don't forget to checkout our who are the betrayer gods video! ruclips.net/video/oEd_NAgeGjk/видео.html
Great video. Mollymauk was also a follower of the Moonweaver. I believe he mentions it when they find a crate of religious symbols in the cave where Fjord found the first cloven crystal.
After watching EXU Calamituy, I want to see the origin of the Raven Queen done as a mystery. Get a group of female players all portraying magic users in Avalir and all striving for this godhood. Only none of the players know which of them will become the raven queen as they are competing for this glory throughout the story.
I just now realized the irony of giving my Kord associated character for my Wildemount campaign a drow lover (passed away though). Actually might end up an interesting story thing to lean into when the rest of the party catches onto that part (dropping hints but we’ll see when all that foreshadowing happens, if it does). Right now the players, not the characters so far, realize my character has a connect to Kord with the fact that my character has those distinctive lightning strike scars up their arms (these have an official irl name which is Lichtenberg Figures) and a mysterious sword that also gives off lightning (thank you griffin saddlebag!). My character has also mentioned that they did once get struck by lightning but stuff happened and so the conversation got derailed as our cleric got a vision right then. Which I love because it just drops another clue that wasn’t followed up on so it’s still foreshadowed but not revealed. Anyway, yeah, the Lolth connection I forgot about with Kord so am interested in seeing how I can play into this. I also have, for this character, a beloved child cousin of my character who is half drow too. As for why all this, it’s because dm, when I was creating, requested that I give the party some hooks they can pursue that would lead them into the Kryn Dynasty. Right now, I do, what with the past lover and that lover’s family, and with my character’s own familial connection through their child cousin (whom my character is one of the few trusted guardians of). Anyway, should be fun! Thanks for the reminder of the lore! Oh and fun anecdote. Through my character’s connection with the Cobalt Soul, Ioun is also a deity of importance to my character. So technically two. The way I think of it is that they have the connection with Kord but are kept in the safekeeping of Ioun’s followers and dm and I are of the same mind here (Kord being important and my character having their interest is something dm and I discussed and agreed on as a plot point). My character isn’t going to go too much into Ioun stuff though as this is a story avenue more for our cleric. The rest will have caught the interest of other deities that will show up here and there but Ioun and Kord are currently the most prominent outside the betrayers (which yes, some characters have caught the interest there too). Should be interesting all in all.
So the existence of my character’s fiancé was something I was finally able to drop. Just figured this would be a fun update for those who read the previous part and had any interest on how this has been going. Only one party member knows right now, the monk who is an ex-soldier of the Empire. Sounds like that could be the worst person to find out right? It wasn’t. The monk asked my character if they knew undercommon too, given my character had already said they were a linguistics scholar with a particular focus on elven history, he had made the guess that undercommon was among those languages (my character had only previously admitted to knowing sylvan and elvish). When I had my character ask why he wanted to know he commented that he was feeling disillusioned by the Empire and wanted to learn the truth given by both sides of the war, figuring such information might be locked behind the native language of the Dynasty if he wanted to learn the Dynasty’s point of view specifically. At this I had my character take the risk and show him one of the three swords they carry, revealing it to be a Dynasty blade and saying it belonged to their late fiancé. My character then admitted that yes, they do know the language and are willing to teach it to the monk, and would do so in honor of the type of person their fiancé was in life (optimistic and an idealist and one my character believes would have their heart broken by the existence of the war, though they died quite a while before it started). I’ll just say that the side chat (text) going on by the players not in the scene blew up at this reveal. I was quite happy about it as it highlighted a ton of the monk’s character development and further shows their commitment to a redemption arc. My character also has a really strong reason to stay with the party and this scene allowed them to feel like they have a very close and deeply trusted friend again. It’s made them even more protective and they even had a conversation with the monk’s npc sister while escorting them to where the rest of the party was, defending the monk when the sister bad mouthed him for a bit to gauge how true a friend my character was to the monk. lol it was funny to play a little snippy, especially since it was so close to when I had that treasonous secret of my character revealed. Super fun! Looking forward to more of this story panning out. Anyway! Hope those of you who read this enjoyed the update.
You skipped the All-hammer, most likely on lack of in game depiction and lack of PC interactions.... Moradin, the Allhammer (or All-Hammer) is the lawful good deity of craft, creation, family, and legacy. The Allhammer is patron of craftsmen, blacksmiths, forgemasters, artisans, and miners, granting inspiration where respect and prayer are given. He shaped the mountains during the Founding, and stands as the patron of home and family.
I've been wondering if the Raven Queen was a follower/lover of her predecessor, of that was just the information that got disseminated through history, such that it would be available to Pike's Religion check of 23. Sarenrae also helped Pelor in taking out Torog per the campaign guide.
Honestly, if RQ and the old death god were lovers I no longer care about what either of their names were, I don't care about the ritual, I don't care what happened to him afterward. All I would suddenly care about is what important anniversary(ies) he forgot about that made her decide that the appropriate way to break up with him was to CREATE FROM SCRATCH a ritual which destroyed him, erased him from history, AND gave her his old job. He would to have been the most absent lover for her to create that ritual and for him to never know about it.
@@ashleywalla4087I hope they reveal that the RQ is just a selfish edgy bitch who only cares about herself and she ends up becoming the big bad of an arc or campaign.
Idun has followers in the Slayers Take in Vaselhime, campaign 1, the sphinx. Also a guest on Vox Machina was a follower and stayed with her. Mythcarver a sword carried by the bard Scanlan Shorthalt is a vestige.
Actually, I believe that the centaurs were created by Corellon after his battle with Grumbsh. Corellon saw how faithful his elven cavalry had remained during the battle and bonded them to their horses whom they loved so much.
Slight recommendation on the audio editing, I would fade the music in an out like a second or two before your voice comes in normally. It sounds a bit jank with the vocal fade.
Its a homebrew created by Matt mercer for Critical Role, but in the mean time they released an offical campaign setting with Wizards of the Coast “explorers guide to Wildmount” as well as two independent campaigns settings “taldorei reborn” and call of the netherdeep

I would love to see more of Avandra.
I would love to see more Moradin!
Funny how Seranray tried to do EXACTLY what Zerxus tried to do. Asmodeus would have totally used the now corrupted Zerxus to kill her followers.
Oof
You forgot that Scanlan became the champion of Ioun which allowed them to find the book to seal Vecna :)

A small piece of lore you overlooked, Melora also created the aarakocra race in Tal Dorei

I feel that would defeat the purpose of the fact that her name and identity are no longer known
@@Ryoga100 to be fair, we didn't know how the calamity went down until ExU calamity either.
I would LOVE that

And was responsible for the original forging of the trammels that bound Tharizdun.
god of…arts and crafts.
I don’t know if this is described in Exandria lore but he is also the creator of Dwarves and is commonly depicted as a dwarf in heavy armor.

Yoooo, you need to do lesser idols next XD
Such as Vesh, The Traveler, Luxan etc
I feel ike calling the Luxen lesser is a bit of a misnomer, seeing as it predates the gods and is likely far beyond their power.

Its Ioun and Vasselheim

Great video, but I have a question. Where’s Moradin the Allhammer?
I would LOVE to see Avandra or Sehanine, I think they both have really cool concepts
Thanks for putting this together
Amazing video. Thank you 👍🏼
I hope we get a vid for the lesser gods of exandria
Amazing!

Ioun I wanna learn more about her and the kobalt and her role
Bully background music 😏
Hasn't Saerenrae been renamed Raei .. as Saerenrae is borrowed from Pathfinder and is not featured in any 5e sourcebook?
Wait where is the all hammer
What campaign setting is this?!
Its a homebrew created by Matt mercer for Critical Role, but in the mean time they released an offical campaign setting with Wizards of the Coast “explorers guide to Wildmount” as well as two independent campaigns settings “taldorei reborn” and call of the netherdeep
Weren’t Melora and Evandra originally the dating couple? I’m guessing they cycled out Evandra upon releasing the setting guides.
