I signed up for it last time you mentioned it. The class you were in was either a bad time for me or full (maybe both) . I’ve done the two free week trial and I’m in my first month of lessons now. "Come to France, " they said. "You can stay in a Chateau!" THANK YOU, Margo's Mom. What a trooper.💖 I remember when the carriage house was a battered shell. Look at it now! It's possibly never, in its entire existence, looked as beautiful nor been as functional. Amy, I can't imagine what it was like cooking in two buildings. 🤯 Hopefully, all is in one place and working now. Marc, we all hope you are healing well and quickly. As long as the family is together and intact, everything else can wait. Maybe you four just need a week or two playing in the sun at home.

What an amazing achievement Amy! It looks so beautiful. Thank goodness Marc is making a good recovery. Your life must feel like a whirlwind and I hope along the way there are moments to occasionally sit back, contemplate and take stock. You have all your wonderful filming to look back on in the future, which must be such a good way to chart your memories, progress and changes. Also to see how your beautiful children are growing and blossoming too. ❤
The "storage room" would make a wonderful upstairs salon/ play room/ evening TV/ reading room, especially in rainy or very cold weather when you don't want to risk slipping on the outside stairs. Hope Marc is recovering well. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Was anyone else mentally yelling "Pivot! Pivot!" as the first wardrobe was being tipped upward and almost hit the beam? (Friends television show reference. :) )
You and your helpers made great inroads during this episode, Amy. Well done! Your temporary home is lovely.
That was a big team effort from moving in the wardrobes, clearing and cleaning the room until the final placement of the furniture - and it turned out extremely well !

Amy, the room looks beautiful! Don’t cover that beautiful daybed with laundry…lol! Maybe a small table would work for folding laundry. I love that daybed! The armoires are wonderful and it was just like you and Marc, the two who thoroughly respect history, to bring them home to keep them in the area. I love your thoughtful respect for history. ❤❤❤
I had thought this was to be your and Marc's bedroom. But it would make a nice cozy lounge or sitting room for the whole family. Looks too pretty for just storage. Great team effort involved. Margot's mom reminded me very much of a younger version of my late mother-in-law. She was awesome at helping out, btw. We can see where Margot gets her work ethic. Juliette was having lots of fun. I wish Marc a speedy recovery. Hopefully, you had a nice cup of tea, or something stronger😂🍸 and a rest after all that.

That was quite an accomplishment, removing all the tools and supplies from the coachhouse. The blue sofa is perfect in that room. What about a series of baskets for dirty clothes? That way they're ready to take to the laundry. And clean clothes can come back in them.

Amy, you and your helpers did a wonderful job with that room. All the furniture, sets off the mural and you have created a beautiful space. The only thing I would add are a couple cushions for your window seats (sorry Margo is no longer with you to do them) to look out on the stunning views. Well done! Hope Marc is recovering well from his injury.

It looks beautiful. It’s refreshing how honest you are about your normal house with two babies messiness. I always felt so bad because all you saw anywhere was perfection when I was raising my 3 and I was always so overwhelmed. I’m glad Marc is on the mend!

wow... isn't it amazing how the upholstery and the rug work into this room with wall painting, its as tho' all the furniture and bits were made for that room and all preplanned. I love the windows and views from this room too

What a beautiful room you have created in a really short amount of time in one day! It's a great boost to the livability of the Carriage House. Now, for a working cooker and dining room in that same Carriage House. Life will be much easier. Here's hoping Marc heals quickly and without any issues.
Well done, all of you.👏 It really looks quite comfortable and functional. My Grandmother always used to say "many hands make light work" referring to all the chores having to be done on the farm. It always seems that tasks done together seem more enjoyable and creative... So happy to see Marc up and about, must be a relief for all of you. God's blessings.
The 2nd upstairs room is beautiful. The antique furnishing are perfect for the space.
There is a dry carpet powder that has paraffin in its base. This stops anything laying eggs.

But it’s the only room to keep our clothes etc in. Otherwise they’ll be in bin liners hanging out of the windows.
It just goes to show that storage space doesn't have to look mundane but can be beautiful and inviting.

What a huge transformation and it's simply lovely and so warmly inviting.
If you are painting the woodworm treatment on the surface it can be good to get a syringe and squirt the liquid into as many holes as you face doing - it gets it deep into the wood.

You can also buy feromone traps with glue, so-called moth hotels, I use them and with good success. You can see if there are any moths around because they stick on the cardboard.
I use them a lot - they’re so helpful to identify the problem areas. Trouble is the buildings are so large they don’t really cover everything.

Try some clove oil and peppermint oil mixed together diluted with some water and spray on your rug - should help mite issue
I once heard from a carpet importer that they spray the carpets with lavender oil to keep the mites away.
The room looked really lovely, don’t you love it when you move and your stuff just suddenly goes perfectly in a room. The blue day bed was inspired as it really enhances the wall and panels colour. It looked a little bit Gustavia in style. Big thumbs up from me.
