Raul, Thank you so much for this. I got the mini to use with my bass ukulele. It's small enough that I can take it in a backpack to the ukulele club meetings, by way of bus. But I had no idea how to get a good bass tone and the seller didn't want to take time to help me. You opened the door and now I know how to explore and get just the sounds I want. By the way, I did use the mini at our last club meeting and it could be heard over 30 ukulele players so it can be more than a practice amp. Thanks!

Very nice Alice! Thanks for watching and for your input! Please feel free to Like, Share and Subscribe to our channel. PS... I just posted a review on a new travel bass from Journey instruments. It might be something for you to consider as a portable option.

If the app had more amps like the jam up app had, I’d be all in. Missing the SVT and Orange AD30B

Maybe there's still something in the dozens of amps it has that will do!

Is the bass sound loud enough to play in a living room with guitar players and a cajon drummer?

    • @BassMusicianMagazine
      @BassMusicianMagazine  4 месяца назад +1

Not the mini by itself. They have a cab/ powered speaker that can give you more volume. Thanks for watching and for your input! Please feel free to Like, Share and Subscribe to our channel.

Gosh, what a beautiful review! Those 25’ were packed with info, thank you so much 😊 I own a double neck, one neck’s a bass, the other’s a tele-style guitar. I will also soon buy an acoustic harp-guitar (it’s a guitar with 6+ extra open bass strings, going down to E1).
Now, I want to busk with these 2 instruments, which means, I need to buy a very portable amp (fitting in a backpack ideally) which will be able to weightlift both guitar and bass frequencies - plus vocals.
After searching for such amps/PAs, my eyes fell upon the Bose P1 Pro PA System, however I really wanted something smaller.
The Roland Mobile Cube seemed to be a catch-all, as well as the Boss Dual Cube LX, however music stores were reluctant to tell me if these could also do bass - and I don’t want to buy something which will be blasted with my low notes.
And then, here you come to the rescue. Showing that this clearly supports bass! I just wish i could also plug a microphone there too.😭
Surely if someone wants to busk somewhere central and there’s lots of noise, a PA system would be better, but for somewhere more quiet I think this should be just enough and way more compact, especially for long travels.
The Roland Mobile Cube which was about the same size (thinner but wider) has got 2 inputs for 2 guitars, 1 for microphone, and 1 for keys or drumkit. I was thinking about going the Amplitude way, with virtual pedals (similar to this), sadly none can confirm it can handle bass without its speakers being blown. Have you by any chance tried that too? Or the Boss Dual Cube LX? (The latter has a bass version too, but the guitar has a built in octaver, so I thought it maybe could do the bass-work too).
If you’ve reached so far, I’d like to thank you for reading my long comment, and any (just any) ideas/feedback would be MOST welcome.
    Thank You!

Got mine… that is great small thing! sounds cool and clear, really like quality of emulating. Soundcloud is best feature for me, cause i don’t like spin the knobs and pushing buttons to find the necessary tone)
but i ran into one problem, despite the fact that the sound in the speakers is cool for this size, the sound in the headphones is very weak... i turn the volume up to the maximum and it's not loud enough for me. Hope PG will solve this in feature software updates.

Nice Valijon. Enjoy your spark. Interestingly, I did not run into the same issue with the headphone volume. The sample I captured split the signal between my headphones and the camera and it was plenty powerful. When I play with the headphones alone it sounds great. You might want to try different headphones and if that doesn't help, contact Positive Grid and ask them. Thanks for watching and for your input! What headphones are you using? High impedance headphones will sound quieter , maybe switching to an iem or something would solve the problem.

@@fuyusan2476 I use Shure SRH840 headphones but I don't think that the problem is in them, since the last update partially solved the problem, now the sound level of the guitar in the headphones is good, but the sound of the music transmitted via bluetooth is low.

Sounds farty. Not impressed. The Boss Dual Cube Bass LX is a better practice amp.

It is best with headphones so yopu can play with the amp/pedal combinations. Thanks for watching and for your input! Please feel free to Like, Share and Subscribe to our channel.
