The caretakers in the movie all pay a price: girl, glamping lady hand, father, community. The acquisitive glamping man wants paycheck without passion, family without the sacrifice, like the glampers who want nature without difficulties. Its understandable the father not accepting the poser glamping man injecting his emotions where he had no skin in the game. I hope the father was running the fastest route to medical care, however the slowing of his footsteps in the moonlight sounded like he came to a sad realization. Harpsichords unlike pianos are plucked like feathers from birds and the mother and daughter from the man who knows the local nature. What's counterintuitive is you could anticipate the ending early on and yet it was so hard to take when it arrived. Reminded me of the feeling when the hunters appeared and Bambi's mom disappeared. Your reaction to tragedy as unexpected as tragedy feels. Great movie.
