Importing materials is done by using the ATTRIBUTE MANAGER. The video is about importing a surface image, but not the surface material. Archicad surfaces and materials consist of 5 files. It constitutes a library of materials.

I do not understood why, but admittedly the material is added and it is visible in 3d while when I take a photo render it is gone.
