    What would you use the space for?

    • @auntclaudia
      @auntclaudia Год назад +12

      I would keep the essence of a stairwell and make a "shop" space per floor. The first company / idea starts at the bottom. If they have achieved a certain goal or task within a certain time, they can go up one floor. If you don't make it, you have to leave. The others move up one extra stair and 1 or more new ones can start at the bottom. If you have reached the top floor and all your goals, well big reward? And of you go into the real world. All this of course with the help of helpbnk, social media and the world.

      HI Simon Squibb
      1.Outer part of replace glasses with solar panels and generate electricity.
      2. Put screens outward and display advertisements
      3. Inside the stair case on every step write a business idea and the person name you already helped. Others will also get inspired with business ideas and their progress
      4. Also put stalls in 2 floors one for investors and others for startups and one for your office and one for tea room(it’s also business idea) and one floor for success and failure stories.
      This way every inch in staircase is utilised❤❤❤

    To monetize the 5-story external staircase, consider hosting a sponsored stair climb charity event. Choose a compelling cause, plan the event, and promote it through various channels. Allow individuals or teams to register, raise funds through sponsorships, and create a festive atmosphere on the event day with entertainment and support. Recognize top fundraisers and climbers, express gratitude afterward, and gather feedback for future improvements. This approach not only generates revenue but also fosters community engagement and supports a meaningful charitable cause.

  • @DuncanJimmy
    @DuncanJimmy Год назад +3

    First question I would have asked is how the rest of the tenants/ owners access the floors of the building the staircase is attached to? If it's their exclusive means of access, then how could the staircase be sold separately from the building? If they have to use it, they'll also have to pass by whomever is using those stairs multiple times a day, which might be good for advertising, but could also be an annoying distraction for those using the space. After that I'd want to know what limits I'd have in expanding or modifying the space to give people more room and possible attract more attention. And finally, what would be involved in providing the power and/ or networking so people can use it as an office space, e.g. heaters, fans, lighting, computers, etc. If it's not the only means accessing each floor, could you just rip out the stairs and create a little office block? Could you move the stairs? Could replace them with a spiral staircase that took up a fraction of the space? Could you just use the outer glass walls as advertising for up-and-coming companies that need the exposure? Could build another level on top? Great stuff, best of luck!

    • @ZedJay88
      @ZedJay88 Год назад +2

      I was thinking the same thing. Surely it was built as means of escape to the building? Unless the building has been converted into something else and regs don't require the external fire escape anymore. But yeh, if the staircase is to be used then means of escape needs to be considered. Bit of a tricky one!

    I would’ve turned it into a game business, basically there might be a goal to reach the top over a certain amount of time, the one that wins gets a certain money prize, and to win that prize u should pay a certain fee. There might be a button u should press at the beginning of the stairs and at the end to capture the record. Also on the outside wall there could be a list of all record holders with the best time

    This is one of the most genius things I’ve seen anyone do in business recently. I know you didn’t do it for the PR but honestly it’s perfect!! And also it’s going to be epic when it’s ready. I’ll certainly be paying a visit 🤩🤩🤩

    That’s a bargain going by London property prices. It’s probably larger than most peoples accommodation in London. I wish him all the success in his new venture well done.👏
