Being 80 I remember these new in the showrooms. I think the 57 line of GM cars were the best of the best. The 58/59's not so much. 60's through the to the 68's were OK too, but the 57 Cad., Buick's, Oldsmobile's, Pontiacs and the Chevrolet's, WOW!!! For 225000.00 there should not be any blemishes nor a cracked glass. Lowering the price for those minus point would be what?? Better to just fix , especially the glass, and keep the price the same.😋😋😋😋

I agree 57 was a great year , not only for GM but also Ford . The 70s saw some of the worst from most all US car makers . Most cars of the last 40 years are of little interest to me , except for the very high end that I would not spend the money on .

There has never been a better and more beautiful convertible produced than this car in the 1950’s

The American car industry lost this great designs because the US car industry wanted to be European. A big big mistake! The American car industry can recapture their glorious car superiority if they start designing and building original car designs. Long, roomy, smooth, analog, no plastic materials, QUALITY.
I myself, wouldn’t mind paying high prices for a top notch American designer cars.
