If you want to grow tomatoes, they grow best when it's not cold and planted in the ground but I would be sure to get a tomato cage so it doesnt fall over.
Hey Roxi! Just wanted to give you a tip for a video. I have seen so many gardening hacks videos from 5 minutes crafts on facebook recently and I'm sooo curious if they are really working because they are so simple and easy but they doesn't look trustful 😅 I know you like trying out new hacks for us so that's why I'm writing this, I would love to see it ❤ btw sorry for my English
I'm 15 and love gardening! I grow potatoes, tomatoes and herbs e.g. Basil, curry and parsley. But plants are expensive and I love planting flowers and vegetables. But I can't afford it that's why I try to earn my own money. P.s. Water every night or early morning to stop the sun from scorching the plants
Yea, we have curry quite a few times a month. It's better to have home grown then shop brought because you can take pride in what you eat or grow. Thank you for replying 😊
Another thing you can do with the mint is you can dry it out by just plucking some leaves and leaving them in a bowl in your kitchen for a few days (they will turn dark in colour) and you can crumble them over your food! I always use some in my salads when I use oil dressings!
Would be SO cool to see you regrowing veg you’ve bought from the store, you can regrow a lettuce after you’ve chopped off the leaves just by putting the stub end in some water and then planting once it shoots baby roots in the water, keeping it nice and moist! Same with spring onion and bok choi. Lovely to see you two repping the plant based power as well!! 🌱 Amazing to see
Plant is life hahaha. I started plating when the quarantine started. Now i have tomatoes, lemon, mandarin, ginger, and bird's eye chili. Note that all of that are from scratch (meaning i grew them myself from the seeds) and all that are just in pots in my window sill. I'll transfer the lemon and mandarin when they grew a bit taller.
Aww so pleased your enjoying growing your own herbs, we have made an allotment at the end of our garden and for the last 6 years have grown all sorts of fruit and veg from crab apples to gooseberrys and from potatoes to courgettes including your favourites cauliflower and broccoli, it's well worth all the time and effort when you can stroll down your garden and pick fresh peas or something to go straight on your plate. Hope you grow more in the future 🥰🥰
You'll make such a beautiful pair ❤️ so ideal for each other. You'll really stand out and I look upto y'all! I really love how you'll aren't like most yt couples y'all are goals! 💯 Stay blessed!
I've started growing my own veg during lockdown and rhe only type of greenhouse I had was the tiny plastic ones to stsrt thwn off, I've had some spring onions already which you can just take cuttings from them so they keep growing, I've grown: Courgette, Cucumber, Potatoes, aubergine, peppers, onions, leaks, carrots, garlic I have some pepper growing but had that one from a starter plant from BnQ but aren't ready to pick yet, samw as you i started off with no idea but has now become my baby so I'd just start and see where you end up
You can definitely grow tomatoes! I do not have a greenhouse, just a little planter in my backyard, and I have tomatoes coming in right now! They were pretty easy to grow surprisingly.
Such a good idea. My mom and I plant everything from potatoes, chard, lettuce, peppers, zucchini, tomatoes to strawberries and berries. It’s a lot healthier and more practical when you have your vegetables and spices in the garden and gardening is so fun.🤗
I am loving this plant based theme... Maybe I should grow some of my own veggies in lockdown!!! I would love to see more vegan videos maybe as I am slowly transitioning and would love to have some tips!!!
WELL DONE GUYS! Having a go at growing your own herbs, n spices!! So good to see you venturing into different things, love the videos keep em comming, take care.
Love you Roxi!! And I really appreciate you guys sharing your experience with growing your own food since I just started growing some of my food, I’m starting little but hopefully I can grow more things over time!!💕💕
Hello, Roxi and Matt!🤗 You can grow tomatoes so easily! You can grow them into a pot. I have a garden and we plant so many vegetables, like tomatoes, peppers, aubergines, carrots, parsley, zucchini, garlic, onions and etc and fruit trees. You can also plant strawberries and raspberries very easily. Keep up with gardening! 🤗😘
Make sure you plant mint BY ITSELF bc its very invasive and will completely take over the whole area you planted it in and its notoriously hard to get rid of too. And yes, you can grow tomatoes without a greenhouse! I have two MASSIVE plants growing on my balcony right now here in norway.
@@RoxiandMatt also, I started my seeds indoors in march under a lamp. So if you try your hands at seedlings eventually, start in EARLY spring inside with a lamp over them. It's much easier than you would think. Then make sure that you take the seedlings outside for a few hours a day for about a week before planting them permanently so they can acclimate them to outdoors, not too long though. Dont just directly plant them outside, it will kill them. Have fun, green thumb!
Love gardening.. im 19 and i grow tomatos, chilli, aubergine, cucumber, cabbage and various types of herbs like mint, corriander, spring onion and so on
I don’t know if it’s different over here in Germany but we don’t put any of that plant grow stuff with the things we grow. At least at my garden we don’t. Because it’s actually not necessary plus that way it is organic all the way. Just water it that’s it

hi guys I love your videos and I love how you renovated your beautiful house. I just started to watch your video so not sure if you already discussed this ,but: Do you think you will renovate your kitchen at some point? xx
Hey Roxy and Matt I loved the video but if you're both concerned about the food you consume there's actually a app for that I just discovered called EWG app it helps with skin and food to see if they are good and they suggest other alternatives you check it out :) just a suggestion
You can grow tomatoes without a greenhouse but you need to cage them in some way to kind of structure the plant and make sure it grows properly. Hopefully this helped :)
You can grow tomatoes in the garden without a greenhouse but then they need to be in direct sunlight. As the plant grows you need to tie a rope upwards so that the tomato plant doesn’t break. Hope I could help
You don't have to boil the mint because the valueable nutritions, vitamins dissappear. Just boil the water and put the mint in, and wait for 5-6 minutes.
Yes you can grown the tomatoes outside I would said is even better outside so the bees can pollinate the tomatoes flowers so you don't need any chemist to make a tomatoes. Na dworze kwiatki od pomidorow beda zapylane przez pszczoly. W szklarni/ foli pszczoly nie wlatuja tak czesto I kwiatki pomidorow trzeba zapylać chemia zeby miec Ladne pomidory.
You should really try some Indian food... It’s mostly vegan or you can make some changes to make it vegan. Personally I am a vegetarian, you should try checking out some recipes. 😇
Oregano is a ground cover plant. It is not going to grow super tall. Tomatoes can be grown outside but the get sunburnt just like a human so they dont like the direct sun
Also mint will take over the other planters if you are not careful. Mint is invasive and hard to get out. Those branches if they touch the soil will grow roots
Let us know if you guys grow anything or what you’d want to grow in the comments! Hope you guys liked the video ☺️
Roxi and Matt tomatoes in my garden
I love you guys, i think you guys should grow like fruit (apples, oranges, strawberries etc) Love you guys so much!
If you want to grow tomatoes, they grow best when it's not cold and planted in the ground but I would be sure to get a tomato cage so it doesnt fall over.
I grow gooseberry, custard apple , aloe Vera and some herbs like curry and mint in my garden. Gardening is a way to relax ourselves.

You guys should invest in a compost bin so whenever you have waste after cooking you can put it in the bin and use the soil for your plants :)
You'll make such a beautiful pair ❤️ so ideal for each other. You'll really stand out and I look upto y'all! I really love how you'll aren't like most yt couples y'all are goals! 💯 Stay blessed!
Love the herb planter 🌿
What garden centre did you guys get that from?

Enjoyed watching it
Omi I’m early!!! Ily 😘🥰
We grow tomatoes without a green house. You just got to remember to trim them else they get huge 😂😂. Hope this helps xxx
Hi, in my family we grow tomatos from seeds to ketchup for generations without greenhouse
Looks soo good. I also enjoy having my own little green house to plant things. So happy to be vegan and see this! #vegansquad
As an architect student damn you guys really inspire me.
You need good temperature to grow tomatoes
Hahaha Matt cutting the plastic herb plant 😂 the best ahha
Matt+roxi = maxxi cute🌠🌠
You may need to put some of the plants into bigger pots. Mint is a weed so it will spread very easily.

If its over 65 outside you can plant tomatoes:) and tomatoes are easier than peppers
