Jeffreys Bay Archives: Terry Fitzgerald - 7'4 Wing Swallow

A couple of years ago Dennis Smith walked into HB and handed over a roll of Super 8.
"I shot this on my way to Belgium in '75, you might be able to do something with it........"
And there it sat, like, what do you do with a roll of hand held Super 8 film in the 21stC?
Dennis went on to play professional squash, TF went on to ride Jeffreys Bay off and on for 40 years.

I had a Hot buttered 6'10 swallow tail flyer back in 78. Man I loved that surfboard, snapped what passed for a legrope in them days when I was surfing big waves by myself, never saw it again, still makes me sad 45 years later.
