I passed my full G test at Metro East center on first attempt after G1. This video has been very helpful. DVP always has bumper to bumper traffic on weekdays. If that is the case on your test day, you dont need to fully accelerate. As soon as you find a gap, you may merge. Please be extra cautious at the pedestrian crossing at Underhill road. If you miss to stop when you see a pedestrian waiting on the sidewalk, its an immediate failure. Good luck everyone.

Actually when you turn right onto Lawrence Ave from the DriveTest centre, you can turn right on red as long as you come to a complete stop behind the white line and you wait for any oncoming cars and pedestrians to clear the way then you can proceed with your turn. Some examiner don't allowed students when its red traffic light to turn right. But in reality drivers always turning right when it's safe and no incoming. Thanks for your comment.
I passed my G road test on Jan 24, 2023 in the same centre. I made right turn on red signal after a complete stop and when there were no pedestrians and oncoming traffics. The route was slightly different for me. Lawrence ave east -> Don valley pkwy north -> 401 east -> exit at warden ave -> ellesmere -> pharmacy ave -> lawrence ave east -> test centre parking lot. Also, it is still the modified road test (i.e., only highway, no resdential area). The video was helpful to familiarize with the routes.

Not totally need to stop. At the intersection going LEFT when its green lights SIGNAL you should proceed NO HESITATIONS but when its only green light circle one should forward half of the middle then when there's no incoming vehicle you can proceed. at 10:45 the sign means the recommended speed is 40. White speed limits means its the law, while yellow speed limits mean recommendation. And you 100% can turn right at a red as long as it is safe and no sign saying no right turns. Same thing at16:58 the sign does not mean maximum 30.

You can right turn on red unless there's a sign saying otherwise. No, this does not depend on the examiner because if you are one that knows your provincial laws, a right turn on red shouldn't be a problem if you actually stopped, looked and checked to make sure it is safe and no pedestrians crossing. EDIT: Don't believe me? Look up Ontario driving laws and read what the official government page say about right turn on red.

Yes you can turn right if there is no sign. In this video the reason why you cant turn right is because examiner dont want to. It depends on examiner if you have a courage to ask please do. But in ontario driving system law you can turn right but you have to completely stop then turn right if there's no incoming vehicle make sure pedestrian also are clear. Well actually you can turn right when there is no sign for "not turning right" you can notice this sign at the top of Traffic lights or beside. And as long as you made completely stop then you can go but make sure it is safe "no people crossing the pedestrian lane and no incoming vehicle. Also it depends on the examiner they are sometimes different knowledge about turning right. But as a student always choose safe unless examiner wants you to do so.

we can take a right turn on Red Signal if its safe. Stopping and not moving when its safe can failed the test as it give impression to examiner that we don't know the rule.

When entering DVP there is a speed sign of 40km/h on the curve. Do you follow that for the curve only and speed up after? I feel that if I am going 40km/ h it is too slow and cars will tailgate and honk at me. Any advice?

Well entering the hwy sometimes you see a 30 km/h or 40km/h this is not necessary to follow the speed limit but you have to slow down because there is a curve they put low speed limit as for your safety. Specially big long trucks coming into hwy facing difficulties driving on the curve so they need to extra careful and slow down. When is your Roadtest? If you're going for your G2, a 3 point turn is almost a certain and parallel parking is a maybe. They may not ask you to parallel park but rather a reverse park and just a slight chance you'll do both.
Once you passed your g2 exam you will become full G holder licence but if you failed nothing change still G2 your licence and also after your exam you can book after 10 days for G Roadtest again until you passed it.. Hey guys, i have my g test here at this centr on Apr 11th. I have booked my g test here as its near to my home. Now i did practice whole day on Saturday at this location and i got surprised badly as all metro east video which i am seeing on you tube is having less traffic but i faced huge traffic on don valley parkway, the cars were moving with a speed of 10km an hour, how can i merge with a speed of 90. Also its challenge to make a lane change with this traffic. Does the same traffic will be there on week days also, while looking the video i thought it will be easy cake but i am little stressed that i should have booked some where else. Guys please suggest me.
Weekdays are very impossible to have limited cars there it always been crowded. I took this video on weekend thats why no heavy traffic. Entering Don valley pkwy is also difficult to merge due to some vehicles are not giving you a chance to get inside even your signal is on and hard to change lanes. Metro east is using Don valley pkwy where speed limits is maximum 90 km/h. Oshawa is hwy 401 and speed limit there is 100km/h. you have to follow the speed limit.
If you are experienced Driver's in other country you can get your abstract there (driving experience history) then when you come here in canada you have to take G1 exam and passed it then show them your abstract so they will allow you to jump into full G.

If you are new comers here in ontario canada and you just have jump your G1 to Full G with your abstract (driving history back home) you have 1 change only to make it pass you Roadtest exam for FULL G. If you fail your exam your going back to g2 and wait for 12 mos to take your full G again.

Why did you suggested to stopped at first red light for turning right towards Laurance ave? It was a free right turn isn't it.

Oh, I thought emergency stop and three point turn are only part of G2 test. I was expecting them to go straight to highway 401 North🤔🤔🤔
For updates Roadtest on full G now 3 points turn and emergency stop are included in the exam. No parallel, uphill, downhill.

80 on the ramp? Shouldn't it be 100?? I failed G test in Oshawa today bc I wasn't going a "minimum of 100" on the on ramp

what happens if i fail g test, can i take another one right after if i have 4 year driving experience from back home?
