Hey everyone! Just in case I forgot to mention, for stat-boosting items like the herbs and boosters, make sure to use them on your main fighter. Stats given by items like those don't transfer over to other characters, so you need to make sure to use them on the character that you'll be using the most during stages. I'd also like to mention that the grinding method that I showed in the video actually works for everything, not just XP. I've found it to be one of the fastest ways to get seasonal kredits, koins and krowns, but you'll only be awarded krowns at the end of each tower. There are some stages that may award krowns slightly faster per time spent, but they'll give less of everything else, so I still find that the hourly tower is a better option if you're trying to get everything this season. Keep in mind that it's possible to upgrade the Looming Darkness talisman at the forge in order to give it more uses, damage and better recharge, but make sure to use Dragon Blood komponents so as not to break the talisman. You'll also only be able to upgrade it once, so make sure that you have all of the necessary komponents that you want to use on the first attempt. As for the Invincible relic, you'll probably notice that your meter stops charging automatically during multi-round fights. This is because you regain your health between rounds, and since you're no longer in critical health (1% health remaining) the ability to regain meter automatically will no longer work. The relic will still cause all damage to go to your meter before going to your health though, so it's still very useful even if you're up against bosses. For the seasonal tower, while the tower is only 7 stages now, I've noticed that they've added a lot more multi-round boss fights, some of which are three rounds and allow the bosses to do their ultimate attacks. This will potentially make the seasonal tower take longer to complete than previous seasons for a lot of players, especially at the higher levels. To counter this, make sure that you abuse the potion shop and the full herb stages that I showed in the video to make your fighters as strong as possible. Finally, I wanted to clarify that for the Towers of Time challenges that award points, you need to complete them in the towers themselves. So for example if it's asking you to do 5 air kombos, they need to be done in a Towers of Time tower. Doing them anywhere else in invasion mode won't count towards the challenge goal. Thanks for watching!
As someone who play a lot of invasion I think this was 5 star guide. I came here to see where the invincible relic was and stayed because it was a very well done breakdown and I just wanted to hear it to see if I agreed. 👍
Great video bro step by step helps us who are noobs alo😅t now imma start the grind. Do u know where i can get the kung lao and johnny cage wu shi skins?
First of all thank you for the kind words! Second of all, the Johnny Cage and Kung Lao Wu Shi skins were rewards for reaching level 80/90 in previous seasonal towers. It's possible that they've added them as drops from the new Legacy tower that's available in the Towers of Time mesa, but I can't promise anything since I already own them and therefore can't check for myself. If not, they could show up in the shrine, shop or as separate rewards in a later season. I hope this helps!

Does tower score impact the rewards you receive? If you do all animalities it gives you a 16x boost to your tower score (compared to a 4x boost if you do all brutalities or all fatalities)
I haven't noticed any connection between tower score and rewards, but I'd happy to be proven wrong. At the moment I think it's just a way to challenge yourself and unlock one of the game's achievements (get 5,000,000 points in any Towers of Time tower).
I don't make videos about crafting talismans because I feel like most people have different ideas about what makes the _best_ talisman, and I tend to just use the gear that I show in my videos to get through the seasonal tower. I like to focus on the stuff that's guaranteed for everyone, like gear from treasure chests, so that everybody starts off with the same strong footing. From there, if people want to go even further and create their own talismans, there's a lot of other guides out there to help them get started. I also find that by the time a lot of players have finished grinding for the krowns and komponents to make an insanely strong talisman, they could've already been over halfway through the seasonal tower rewards. And with the addition of the potion shop and full herb stages this season, you can easily power up your fighter to the point where you really don't need an overpowered talisman to make progress quickly. That's just my take on it and I'm sure that other people are going to feel differently, but I hope this helps!
@@8-bitbasementlive thank you for the reply! Well you might be surprised but in fact there is very little or almost no one I can find on YT who makes videos about the current talisman situation etc to complete the seasonal tower. As every season is changing and they make it more and more difficult to complete towers with grinding I was hoping you could make a similar video like that covering everything. For example they kept nerfing components, now also we don't have great talisman available like god blast or windbreakers etc etc. So would be nice to see what talisman would YOU make and craft to complete the seasonal tower 80 quickly and without problems. It's not about which one is better or which one who prefers but more about efficiency to do it quicker and get rid of it. I don't think people really ENJOY playing the seasonal towers they only do it for the skins and that's it. So it's not about what talisman people personally like but more about what talisman can be crafted to carry over this BS till level 80
Honestly, the easiest way to beat him if you're already invasion level 30 and having trouble is to make sure that your stats are high enough with herbs and potions. Try to use a character that is strong to (or at least not weak to) fire. The potion that doubles all stats for one fight will be a huge help, otherwise just run through the full herb stages a few times and build your stats up. Use the Looming Darkness talisman right at the beginning of the fight so it lasts the entire match, and when he does his projectile spam attack, crouch in the corner and block until it's done. If your stats are high enough he shouldn't be doing a ton of damage to you, so you should be fine.
I want to max every character's mastery and most of my characters are like less than level 10. How long do you think this will take me with this method? I usually play most of the day
It's hard to give an accurate time frame for how long it would take to fully master a fighter or kameo since there's variables like player skill, tower modifiers, stronger enemies like Nitara or bosses. I'll give a quick rundown though based on how much XP it takes to master a fighter and kameo and how long these tower runs typically take: Let's say that it takes two and a half minutes to do a full tower run, and you finish every fight with a flawless victory and a brutality. That's 1700 fighter XP and 1460 kameo XP every two and a half minutes. Now, it takes 315000 XP to master a fighter from level 0. If we divide 315000 by 1700, we get roughly 186 towers. If we multiply that by two and a half, we get 465 minutes, which is just a little under 8 hours. For kameos, which only need 60000 XP to master from level 0, it would take less time. If we divide 60000 by 1460, we get roughly 42 towers. If we multiply that by two and a half, we get 105 minutes, which is just under 2 hours. As you can see, it still takes a while to master fighters and kameos, and this is with the streamlined method where you're getting as much XP as possible per time spent. The numbers I gave are also going to depend heavily on how strong your fighter is and what opponents you're up against, so some hourly towers could take more or less time. There's a chance that we'll get double XP weekends which will make a big difference to these numbers, but we don't know when those are happening. My suggestion is to continue playing at your own pace and focus on the fighters and kameos you like the most, then branch out if you feel like maxing out the rest of your characters. Keep an eye out for easier towers and focus on those when they pop up to save as much time as possible. I hope this helps!
I finished invasions yesterday, too bad the secret fight after Liu Kang is Scorpion, which supposes that next season will reset to Scorpion season 1. I really like all the changes made in invasion for this season, as it was more pleasant to go through the mesas this time and also towers of time challenges feel nice to complete. My current points are at 362 🤣 The only two things that I still didn’t do is learn and try the new mechanic for creating new talismans from zero and the Johnny Cage survival in the mesas that requires the coins.
Whoa 362! That's wild. Great job on getting through the invasion already, and yeah I'm happy with a lot of the changes that they've made this season too. It's still not perfect, we're still forced to spend a lot of time grinding if we want everything, but it's nowhere near as bad as it was in some previous seasons. Hopefully they can continue to listen to player feedback and make positive changes so that we're not forced to treat the game like a second job.
Do you know what the "Liquified Shadows" komponent is for? The description just says "a mysterious talisman component." Nothing I put with it in the forge does anything 🫤
I've run into a couple of these items so far that I don't currently have any explanation for. I got a legendary key item that just says "Formula: Titan + Tarkatan" which I'm trying to figure out how to use. It looks like they've added quite a few of these with this update, so we'll probably start seeing players discover things soon. As soon as I have more answers I'll let you know!
