MK11 KRYPT: HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!

So SOMEHOW I had managed to successfully run past the swinging axes in the MK11 krypt going BACK to Goro's dining hall from the Torture Halls. From what I understand, this isn't supposed to be possible because to go BACK to Goro's Dining Hall from the Torture Halls, there is a chain you have to pull to temporarily stop the axes from swinging so it makes it possible to get back to Goro's Dining Hall from the Torture Halls. I, however, believe by PURE LUCK, somehow managed to run past these axes without pulling the chain to stop them. Going TO the Torture Halls from Goro's Dining Hall is easily doable because you can run past the axe traps very easily and there isn't any chain to pull to temporarily disable the axes but, vice versa, I somehow managed to run past the axes without pulling the chain which was a mandatory thing to do. HOW?! lol

There is a chain in that area on the side near the swinging axes that you could pull
