Main point for Bastion is to check G3 unless the new Bastion have something like put 1 G3 to your top deck or maybe CON: your G3 gain 5k shield. Unless those new stuff, G4 which has 3 drives still better chance to get G3 for restand. So for now...let's cope the opponent deck can't rush or you damage check trigger to survive or early guard if possible (Not even count the deck that can explode your Knights on the field).
@@kihyceparchment6249 Well the issue is that Bastion needs g3 for his effects and such. They really made the deck glass cannon, if you try to mix in other cards other than g3 you just don't do anything.
@@AnimeAmvStar I get what u mean, I feel like in these cases if ur deck isn't doing as well , play a riskier build I mainly do that for my lower tier decks and it works I work recommend u never know what could come out of it

it seems Bushi is so afraid of making Bastion good again and able to keep up with current meta. the only reason they hit dark strain was because the grand majority was just playing Bastion cus he was best deck in the early meta. now its died down enough that hardly anyone plays it and we still cant get the support we need. its so ez too just give us better draw power besides alden and a better booster that doesnt minus from hand/field a unit/order that makes all cards on the field grade 3 if a Bastion is on vanguard circle wouldnt hurt either😉
Youthberk is simply disgusting! I play it and against it. Feel so bad winning with it. Literally got all triggers on drives and with Sequana. Kill the opponent while at 1 dmg... I hate it as much as Eva, Overlord and Purelight.
@@TopDeckHeroes I think it's possible to have a good early with bastion, and play defensive. Botdeck bastion memes aside sword of judgement is a good G3 and could cripple some decks who over commit

I might play Youthberk (and usually root for it in all the Proxy Plays) but man I felt *so* bad for you. I could feel the salt and frustration coming through especially on the Pity Game 3 here. I thought Bastion had the potential to be a really cool deck, maybe something like Premium Dimension Police where your G3s can gain shield value so you don't just, y'know. Roll over and die the minute your opponent swings at you. What makes this worse is that this *should* be the overDress equivalent of the classic OG Royals vs Shadows match up, and instead what we currently have is Bastion taking sky diving lessons without a parachute courtesy of Youthberk. 😅🥲 So, uh, Bushi, new Bastion Ride line when? 🥺

Try running the Blaster Dark rideline for Bastion. Been trying it out and it’s been pretty decent
