    One thing that Gandiva does well that I wish Eugene did is that it can still do things when it can’t retire or can’t retire enough. If Eugene can’t retire things he just cries.

  • @EnerKaizer
    @EnerKaizer Год назад +9

    ... Gandiva feels like it already has 2-3 support waves with how freakin consistent and strong it is out of the gate.
    I wouldn't be shocked if this deck actually gets hit sooner then later just because of how insanely fast without a downside it is.

      @kaiber0390 Год назад +1

      @@kodokutamashi1569equana wasn't Youthberks biggest issue, if anything she was a combine rusher to Eva. Sure the deck would lose some power but your win con was still unnaffected. Besides, they're not gonna restrict cards made for the deck, they're gonna restrict generics. Wouldn't be surprised to see best harvest choice restricted.

  • @ciphercode1075

    Hmm, actually both the new ridelines have high powered columns that are able to reach Persona ride level power on turn 3. Solrairon just requires full columns and is more stable while Ghandiva requires pieces to reach it but is able to exceed it. Their multi-attack is also the same with Solrairon having it build in while Ghandiva requires pieces.
    Wonder if this is deliberate on Bushiroad's part to counter Stride decks and Masques decks (being able to Turn 3 Persona Ride with the order if they went second).

    • @kodokutamashi1569
      @kodokutamashi1569 Год назад

      Duh, Gandiva can destroyed Solrairon easily. That's not even competition. Solrairon also starve for souls. So he can't run beaters, because most of them don't have sc effect. The only beater is that g3 dragon

      @@kodokutamashi1569 I think you either replied to the wrong person or misread my comment. I wasn't saying which one was better but saying the similarities and differences between the two.
      Ghandiva is definitely the stronger of the 2. And I don't know why but my experience with Solrairon is similar to Hector's in this channel, in that I keep drawing my triggers when I stack a normal unit on top of the deck...

    39:34 More than Eugene's lack of free retire, Gandiva also has a lot of refunding (if you did not retire, do this) so not only is the retire cheaper you also get something no matter what so the value of these skills is higher on average.

    I think DE deserves a good rideline right off the bat as it's current best decks are Overlord and Tamayura who are Cray Cross Epic and an Encounter.
    I find it funny that Eugene has the Narukami motive with him being a desert gunner but plays defensively more like Kagero while Gandiva has a Kagero motive being a Flame Dragon and all the fire but plays more offensively like Narukami.

      Incoming small wall of text:
      8 crit, 3 draw. Found crits to be better than draws to win that much faster
      4 Howling Moon, 4 Overcoming Eternity, and 3 Eclipsed for 11 orders. Currently testing 2 of the retire g3 world in place of 2 of the Eclipsed for extra removal which Orfist otherwise lacks.
      4 Grunder, making sure to almost always use its retire ability to get orders back into my hand for the g3 ride, and for orfist's discard ability. Also why I run 11 worlds, good chances to drop 2 from Grunder's effect.
      4 of the Cycle card. The cycle part is good if you can manage your soul well. But the big hitter is the counterblast effect because 2 orders, one for free, feels so good. First persona ride you have a chance to have 6 worlds which is lovely.
      3 of the promo that soul charges 2 and can SB to summon a shadow army. Really helpful in getting that pressure and maintaining the soul.
      Final card is the Persona Ride Order because the deck needs persona rides to do a lot of good plays.
      Then your usual 3 Personas, 4 PGs. Took out Nuvorea because I'd rather have more shield value as your deck already has no shield.
      Maybe there is something better out there but this works for me. Especially on turn 2 with a 10k grunder, 10k vanguard, then a 20k shadow. Feels nice
