Arabs have always been in Jamaica. They get classified as "white" most of the time. When they first came to Jamaica, they were the book keepers for the slave masters. They are originally Syria, before Syria, was divided. Now is Lebanon. A lot of them were of the Jewish faith and Muslims. So Arabs in Jamaica is nothing new.

We can’t use a broad brush to paint Muslims. I am a Jamaican who worked and is now living in a Muslim country and the love I get from them is real. We cannot judge them by what others say. Having a first hand experience with Muslims will change how we perceive them. I actually now live with some Muslims and they treat me with the utmost respect even though I pray six times a day in front them.
