It’s like the final boss of the game itself. it’s as if the world is about to be destroyed by a god threat and the hero is saving it like the two of them are flying at the very top of the sky and into the space where the devourer is just right behind the terrarian’s back flying towards the sky through the space and the to of them go head to head and as the two of them clash to each other a huge surge of magical mana spreads throughout space. it’d be insane if this was animated like the game itself is just like an anime probably because of the weapons :O
Oh golly, this theme really makes a perfect arrangement to a devouring god cosmic worm in it's final form, sure hope that the community of this mod, doesn't take it in a another way of toxicity towards to new comers to the calamity mod from a specific cause that they found it, yet they do detest where they came from, which is very unwelcoming and impolite towards their visit, and I may find that as sensitive and can be bothered by small things which are unharmful

I was legit struggling with eternity-revengance devourer of (worlds) so I decided to play this theme in the background and in those minutes I became a dodging champion
I remember being bored and using the Ares Exoskeleton to torture this thing, fun times

i think that devourer of gods should have been a superboss instead of pre-yharon
the phases split into 2 bosses like calamitas with dog v2 spawning automatically and scaring the shit out of the player
nah, wouldn't make sense lore-wise. The lore was constructed before the faces put to names. It is difficult, sure, but not superboss standard. Compared to Adult Eidolen Worm, an actual superboss, Devourer of Gods is easy.

I know the bells typically indicate a god in calamity but isn't the DoG technically not a god? It's like a godslayer type character not being a god themself which kind of makes the player character and DoG fairly similar
He is no god himself, but he calls himself a god due to his godlike powers so… it’s up to you to decide if he’s a god or not, he’s kinda like the nergigante of the calamity mod.

me and a friend summoned it for the funny on revengance expert mode we won with honestly quite ease maybe calamity overhaul allowing me to use the murasama as soon as i get it (albeit a very weakend version that gets stronger with more bosses you kill) mightve made the game to easy
