Sashmax21 Yeah, and those trained individuals will get an automatic adrenaline dump every time someone reaches into their pocket or purse hahaha. PTSD 101 is pretty much what neurological hijacking is all about. It's basically inducing an auto-response mechanism for given scenarios.... Good luck trying to cope with that shit later on when you end up nervous everywhere you go haha So this would greatly benefit soldiers returning from combat to prevent/nullify PTSD symptoms
I remember the drills we did in krav maga. We had to lie face down and the rest of the class had kick sheilds and they laid all their bodyweight on the one person face down and the one person had to fight their way out. One girl had a panic attack and still fought her way out.
I feel like getting lightly tapped by a bunch of people with cushions and soft gloves isn't going to hijack my neurons. Better than nothing though. The last video with the simulated knife attacks looked intense. That's what I'd expect for some serious training in how to survive real world situations.
Justin Vaughan - you're probably correct - for you. However, you're not taking this class. The associations and stimuli that trigger highjackings are different everyone. And, we prefer to induce a level of intensity that is suitable to each student. In the same way a personal trainer wouldn't stack plates on the bar with a beginner in Olympic lifts. The mind is like a muscle. Thanks for your comment. -TF
@@integrativedefensestrategi8272 Makes sense. This is more of an entry-level thing then? Like I said, better than nothing, which is about how much training 99% of people get.
This should be a MANDATORY for every soldier who returns from overseas after finishing their contracts. VERY USEFUL in the prevention of PTSD! #Mission22 #OperationZero
Can you practice fundamentals and teach skills while simultaneously training stress inoculation. Or must they remain separate drills all together. Perhaps the ultimate goal is to work them separately and then incrementally bring the two together?

So let me get this straight, the guy you are referring to takes the time to train complex high stress scenarios on a regular basis and you make fun of him because he's wearing an airsoft helmet rig? You can make fun of me and criticize me all you want, but the moment you start trolling my hard working students we have a problem. Do you have anything constructive of informative to say? I'm all ears. If not shut your ass-hat pie hole. -TF

This is awesome! Finally someone is thinking and offering training to the PUBLIC that can benefit them during real life BS.

Sorry, don't agree with you. We all can benefit from this type of training....all of us.
I love this channel, because that want to actually help people in real life situations and not the Hollywood and sport type fighting
