- We are getting started in Starfield gameplay with a bang by stealing an enemy ship on day one before leaving the first system.
This is an Xbox playthrough because well, my PC won't run it. Hopefully that will change, but until then, I'm back to my roots on Xbox and honestly loving it!

It was my third start but I did it first time too. The second time I talked to them. Greanade is much quicker. Lol. You can see the red dots right out side the door.

That door that shocked you in the beginning can be opened when you return & you can get Hellers Cutter, it's nothing special except for being orange instead of red
Well dang. I do want an Orange cutter though so I guess I’m going back.
Spaceship combat is better in 3rd person, also get the weapons lock perk. Its a game changer for space combat.
Can't believe it I missed so many items. That is the best start I've seen i may need to restart. Awesome
To be fair, it was my third time. I played offline at first. Then started over but my recoding messed up so I had to do it again.

Howdy Bob, glad to see you survived Idalia. It wasn't too bad over here. I don't think the wind got over 60. I was deep into Starfield and the power went out for 3 hours It was the longest 3 hours of my life. I absolutely love this game.
My character is a Wanted Space Scoundrel that loves his parents and little brother Adoring Fan who looks like him.
You're right about lockpicking. It is an essential skill in all Bethsoft games.
There is sort of a lean mechanic in game that only works in third person. Get close to the left side of a wall or door frame and use aimed shot. It will enable you to look around the wall and shoot with minimal exposure.

I was watching someone's livestream and they were clumsy AF flying the ship and having a real hard time with that first battle.
And then they kept forgetting they had a scanner.
I love that limp wristed slap you dropped that one pirate with 😂😂😂.
You pretty much pissed off every faction before even hitting town. 😂😂😂
This game really is No Man's Skyrim 😂 whoever coined that joke was spot on.
I am contenplating buying an xBox from the pawn shop just to play it.
It's smooth on Xbox. No issues at all so far.
Whichever the lesser Xbox is... S or X, I forget... it's kinda rough from what I have seen. But this playthrough, and what I saw on a banger PC looks great. No stutter or texture load issues. Almost like it did in the demos Bethesda gave us.
@@SurvivalBobGamingevery other playthrough I watched, everybody seemed to be scared to get in a fight and it seemed boring... nobody jacked a ship on the 1st planet 😂. You pissed off just about every faction.😂

My 20 hour save got corrupted this morning. Fast travel or entering ship would lock up the game. Xbox series S. Even reinstalled the game. Cleared the cloud saves.

I didn't get that option until I got to Constellation and could add him to my crew. but yeah, he sucks at stealth.
Maybe having a large walking, talking robot is affecting your stealth game...shut him up or shut him down! Sorry Vasco.
Yeah, I think so. Apparently you can’t make him stop following you until a little later in the story.
Gonna play it…. Eventually…. Still have to finish BG3 and Cyberpunk!
I'm very weary of this game. I'm so jaded from space engineers and NMS and elite dangerous. Idk if can handle all the loading screens replacing the actual space traveling.
And how tedious all the systems of upgrades and such are. Not sure about this one.
What do you think so far? I'm thinking on sale at best. Or never buy.

Why would you need to retract the landing gear on a spaceship?
I don’t know that you need to, but it has to fly in the atmosphere to land and takeoff so it could be helpful for that part. But mainly because it looks cool I suspect.
HOW?! I bought this for XSX but it was unplayable so I requested a refund and got it. What am I missing here? Why does it run smoothly on your Xbox but terrible on mine?
No idea. I’m playing on Gamepass. They did have an update yesterday.
What monitor do you use?
Main is a Viotek 1440, three years old. Then have 2 1080 Gigabytes for the sides.

Probably 8.5 - 9. It’s a lot of fun. The loading screens kill some of the immersion for me and there’s some weird NPC stuff, but overall I’m really into it. Played about 30 houses so far.
Dear god pleas shed some light on the fact that lots of xbox players are dealing with constant crashing as frequent at every 5 min and NOBODY IS TALKING ABOU IT.

You have 3 guns but only used the pistol the whole time? Why is that?
It did 11 damage and the others did 3 and 4 damage.

@Pugwash07 I have been. Went through a shotgun phase and Lately using one of the assault rifles with a medium scope to shoot from a distance.
Definitely would have used the better weapons lol

I've been trying to get an answer to a very simple question. On Xbox X, what is your game file size? From the first download mine was 101.1GB. After all the download it's 101.2GB. Shouldn't it be higher than that? I submitted a ticket to Bethesda support 5 days ago and still no answer, except for "Waiting for Agent". Can someone please help me?
Does the game work for you? If so I wouldn’t worry. If not, I’d do a clean install. I haven’t checked my file size but I did download early and remember it was over 100. It didn’t do an update when early release opened, I just put in my code and it worked which surprised me. There was an update the other day but I didn’t pay attention to the size.
It sorta works. I did a clean install, bun my issues haven't been resolved. A Special Sauce mission that points to Paradiaso. Yesterday I was wandering around Jemison trying to find a cave to mine some ore when a Starborn ship landed, 3 guys got out which I killed and suddenly when anybody talks it's so distorted I can't understand them. Is that supposed to happen? @@SurvivalBobGaming

Seems to go console for this game asmit is almost unplayable unless you have a 5grand PC to run it.

Doesn’t seem like a very engaging game to me a great value version of old Halo games at best. Old Halos meaning pre-343 Industries, 343 killed Halo.
Nah, Halo was never this big or open. I’ve played 30 hours and haven’t done any of the main quest yet.
