Brilliant video. I ran 500 feet of drip yesterday and will be running 500 more later in the season. I was wondering how to terminate the ends cheaply and you showed how. You now have another fan and follower.
Thank you for explaining this so clearly. I'm going to order individual pieces instead of a kit now. This video helped me see what I need and how to use it properly.
Thanks so much! Great video! I’m also a cut flower farmer just starting out and ready to install my tape! Your video was helpful because I saw that you leave the side with the holes & blue line facing up! Thank you & keep up the great work!
Very useful information and the end cap idea will be saving me a lots of money. Can you please do a short video about the basics of your irrigation system. Starting from the water source to the final output. It will be helpful if you can reply me asap about the mainline diameter and what type of pipe you use.
I wish I had seen this video before I purchased 8mm tape. It's almost impossible to install on the valve. I use rubberized gloves and still can't get it over the ridges. Live and learn. I will say, I have a tool that looks like pliers that punctures the hole in the main line, easy and don't have to carry a drill around. Thanks for the great information!
I work for Torro and I am very happy to see our product found a good home this type of drip tape extrusion is very hard to make😂.. and my co-workers are hard to deal with😮
How do you get water to your drip tape? I am setting up drip tape in new cut flower beds this year in my yard and do not want the poly all over my yard. Can I run garden hoses to the systems for my source of water? Thank you
There are holes punches that usually ship with the valves. We like using the drill for ease, when putting in hundreds of valves it saves our hands and wrists, but the cheap one works just fine too!
Really loved your video great tips! You said the drip tape lasts a season, does that mean you replace your drip tape every season? How long does it usually last?
Thanks for the great tutorial. Do you think a 1/2 inch poly tubing will work for 15 beds that are 75 feet long or should l buy 3/4 inch. I intend to buy the 15 mil drip tape. Also my garden is slightly sloped. Thank you.
I bought one system from Berryhill with drip tape for rows and several of the valves and end caps are leaking. I have tried to get a refund and I’m not getting anywhere with it. Can you use plumbers tape on the plastic Valve fittings to keep it from leaking?
Thats huge roll of tape...how on earth do u save and reuse it once ur done for the season. Ive done pvc for my little garden..but i havent liked it at all..so im gonna try this type. I gotta do something..over head is NOT GOOD..wastes a lot of water too...plus u can easily get a 26 dollar siphon to fertilize ..i dont grow even 1/32 of what u grow tho

Hey, if using drip tape do you still need to do foliar waterings? Or is the drip tape sufficient enough on its own
Just found your channel and wanted to say that this was the best demo of hooking up drip tape I’ve seen, wonderful job! Thanks!
Alright, I have my valve, drill, bit, twisty thing, and my do-hickey. I'm all set! (excellent video)
Out of all the videos I've watched.... this one has helped me a ton!! Thank you so much!
Glad it helped!
Thank you SO much, Love the tip on using a drill to poke the hole in the tubing! My fingers wimp out every time with that task😜
Glad it helped; the drill was a real upgrade for us!

I must say, you are one smart person.
It was a helpful video for me.

You Make Drip Irrigation Farming Deliciously Easy. Thanks
Using a drill for the holes is awesome!
Thanks for the end cap idea!
We didn't invented it but we're happy to share
Wow, just found this video, and it is a big help, great information as we just bought a drip tape system and are ready to install, thank you. 👍👍💚🙏
What a woman. An angel they don’t make em like you any more.
Thanks for the tip on crimping the drip tape end.
Very good advice, thank you so much. You've solved a lot of my irrigation system problems.
Glad it helped!

Thanks for checking it out!
Great video. Thanks for the end cap trick.
Ok, I'm going to try this drip tape. Thanks
the end termination trick is awesome thanks!
Glad it helped!
Best video by far. I'd prefer a drill and to use a bit of the hose. Thanks so much
Thanks for the great tutorial. Subscribed!

Super video. Hvala i pijepi pozdrav iz Hrvatske.
Thanks
Very clearly explained, thank you so much.
Excellent tips. Do you ever have a need to turn the tape around. What would be the smallest radius turn possible ?
Great tips. Will definitely help.
Thanks!
Thanks for the demo, that's exactly what i was looking for. :)
Nice video. I suppose if you have a deep well clogging of emitters is not a problem, but do you have a filtration system too?
we do have a pretty robust filtration system, but even so we find that we need to replace the tapes every 2-3 years.
Thank you for this video but I’m wondering is there do you inject your fertilizer and if so what fertilizer do you use?
If you place drip tape under plastic mulch how do you puncture the mulch without hitting the tape ?
Very useful, thanks for sharing!
Can drip tape be curved to run back at the end of a bed without kinking? I'd prefer to buy one valve per bed and still have a few lines per bed.
Great tips. Thanks.
You bet!
Thank you so much, this was so helpful. :)
Thank you!
This was brilliant thank you so much.
Thanks for checking it out!
Great video do u have pull tape up or can u leave it buried in ground during winter
We pull it up for all of our annual crops
Very helpful. Thank you
Thanks for checking it out!
Brilliant video!!
Thanks for checking it out!
God bless you and wish you good luck
There is a really cheap and accurate hole punch for putting the hole in the 1/2 inch pipe. I don’t think I would want to use a drill for that.

Thanks!
Nice, do you have links where you get your supplies?
We source everything through Amazon or Irrigation king
This is a very help video. Thank you!
You bet, thanks for watching!
How long does the drip tape last vs heat & cold?? Great video & beautiful place!
As an average, 3-5 years
Really loved your video great tips! You said the drip tape lasts a season, does that mean you replace your drip tape every season? How long does it usually last?
She said many seasons
Great tutorial. I am about to have sod placed my small front yard. Would drip tape be practical if installed under the grass sod?
If its totally under ground it would be hard to check for leaks
Hi, how long do they last without cloghed drips?
Thank you so much for sharing
Thanks for watching!

What did you end up going with? 3/4 inch or 1/2?
Thank you! Simple explanation..
Glad it was helpful!

Wow great ideas... really done a good job.... appreciate....
How often you have to change the drip tapes ? Months ? Years ?
Every 3-5 years
I am struggling to find 16mil drip tape. Plenty of drip line but not tape. Am I missing this? Lots of 8 mill tape
Good stuff
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!
Do you have a link for the items you have shown on the video?
I am looking for those on/off valves too
can u bury these tapes underground at a 12" depth? for subsurface?
Where do you buy the valves?
Amazon is probably the easiest, if you search "Tape x 1/4" Barb" you'll have several options
How do you connect your drip lines to your water source?
Nice video
Where do you get the tape?
Do you reuse the poly line or the drip tape ?
yes, we reuse both
@@RainDropFarms Two years late? I found even with the thicker tape the seam splits in about 30% of the material, I just replace it now.
What do you use to connect the header to your water source?
We use a 3/4 male insert adapter that is treaded and then we add a female hose to hose adapter to attach to the water source
How do repair if you have made a puncture hole?
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼mantap
I m looking this
Your country
